Allies who aid each other as much in life as they do in death.
A basic concept of getting cheap ally minions out on the battlefield who build upon each other with excellent synergies that create reliable rally combos for brutal offense, tactical defense and nice health total swings. March from the Tomb will terrify your opponents when, once they've finally cleared the board, your allies return together with more power than ever!
This is a casual deck, and what is the first and only deck I own. Although I only play against friends in a non-competitive environment, I still like to theory craft optimizations for the deck, and I would love to hear suggestions for changes of minor or even great kind that you might have.
BUDGET ALTERATIONS:
I run a budget, non-modern legal version of this deck, which at the time of purchase cost me under $70. Some might make the argument that this $100 decklist is fairly budget as is, though.
Rescue from the Underworld x3 > Eerie Interlude x3 | It's a cheap board preservation alternative to Eerie Interlude or to Unearth, which is what I've been running over either of those to good success.
Disenchant x3 > Anguished Unmaking x3 | Artifact and Enchantment destruction will be necessary. Disenchant gives you that without being $5 a pop.
Evolving Wilds x2 > Godless Shrine | Which is truly the bigger price to pay, $20 or the tempo lost on playing a tapped land? I do feel the two additional dual lands may be necessary at all costs. At least with Evolving Wilds you can clear up your library.
The remainder of the cards in the Maybeboard consist of a few cards I often include 1-offs of in my deck just to test, or some other cards I want to try out in the deck yet. Theory crafting is fun, but I like some actual test results.
Advice is strongly appreciated!
