This is my updated build of my Thopter Deck for SOI Standard. I am determined to make a competitive deck using Thopters, and this is what I have come up with so far.

The deck has a large counter/control mechanic utilizing the following cards:

Negate for a standard cheap counter spell, Horribly Awry for a cheap creature counter spell with benefit of exiling the creature and Void Shatter for a more versatile counter spell that also exiles the spell.

Disperse and Send to Sleep are in the deck to provide some control if I am lacking blockers or want to push through an attack.

Creatures all create or benefit Thopters in some way:

Thopter Engineer creates Thopters and gives them haste. Whirler Rogue creates even more Thopters and provides some control if needed. Hangarback Walker is just an amazing card that also generates Thopters upon its demise. Finally Chief of the Foundry gives all my Thopters +1+1, making them formidable fliers.

New Standard cards added:

Westvale Abbey   was added because I have plenty of Thopters to sacrifice in order to flip and bring in the homerun hitter. I could also sacrifice a Hangarback Walker in order to bring out more Thopters in addition to fliping Westvale.

Jace, Unraveler of Secrets provides some card advantage, control, and a really sweet payoff if you can get to it. Also, it cost about $80 less than the "better Jace".

Overall, I think it is a fun deck and I will post updates regarding playtests and changes.

PS: Sideboard is still very much a work in progress, and I would love to have Pia and Kiran Nalaar in the mainboard, but I presently do have have any of them. I am also still working on the Mana base.
