This is a deck about inevitability. First we have Rancor and Behemoth Sledge to give Rith, the Awakener trample.

To help along this doubling, we have more doubling: Parallel Lives and Anointed Procession can help. Hornet Queen adds creatures fast, while Acidic Slime and Eternal Witness do their thing (as do Wood Elves and Farhaven Elf) while still providing a green body (which means adding one more saproling token!) Ant Queen gives us insect tokens, which are just as good.

Notice the anthems as well. Your saprolings can quickly become deadly fighters in their own right with Cathars' Crusade.

Squirrel Nest and Earthcraft go infinite, and you don't even need to attack with Purphoros, God of the Forge and friends.
