A deck I found on Channel Fireball being piloted by Caleb Durward. It's been some time since a Modern deck has gotten me invested in the format over the past few months.

This will be the deck I play for the Second T/O League

How it Works

At first glance the deck seems a little odd, trust me when I looked at the list I scratched my head a little. And then you realize what Skred is. Not only can Skred act as some decent creature removal, but the main role that Skred plays in the deck is to hit Swans of Bryn Argoll and draw cards. At instant speed.

Being able to fuel yourself into an Dragonlord Ojutai, Cryptic Command or Remand is incredibly useful and can help get you ahead of your opponent.

In order to stabilize against the Burn match up there is Soulfire Grand Master who can rebuy spells over and over in the late game. Another early threat is Vendilion Clique which is great for disrupting an opponent or even cycling out a dead draw.
