The Cure is essentially a very efficient berserk stompy deck. Efficient cards like Wild Mongrel and Putrid Leech are dropped early on.

The symbiote cards like Reverent Silence or invigorate are combined with False Cure for direct damage or with Kavu Predator and Berserk for massive beaters. Tainted Strike can effectively act like another Berserk, and in lieu of having to deal damage to make up for giving your opponents life if you don't have a False Cure.

Quirion Ranger serves as a way to account for the low land count and helps protect against Wastelands and other LD.

Putrid Leech can't be pumped as high as Wild Mongrel, but there isn't usually enough dead cards in hand to actually use mongrels as well as it could. So the leech is better than mongrel early game.
