The idea is to cheat fatties into play with Goblin Welder, reanimation spells, or Master Transmuter.

Careful Study was already a really good card for this deck, and Faithless Looting is a strict upgrade to it. The flashback is most definitely relevant. Seeing one of these in your opening hand is always nice, because it's a turn 1 play that lets you see two more cards and discard fatties for turn 2 reanimation.

Intuition let's us tutor for a lot of really powerful effects at instant speed, though the most common is probably 2x Sundering Titan and a whatever else is relevant to the game state. One Titan is guaranteed to hit the bin, meaning it's ready to be brought into play with one of the deck's reanimation effects and start wrecking people's mana bases. Because the deck plays 0 basic lands, it will have no effect on your own lands. In fact, I play 2 copies of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth for the ability to target the most troublesome land in play (even if it's nonbasic, because it's also a Swamp), which makes these ETB/LTB triggers even that much more disruptive.

Spellskite does a lot of work in the deck. It's an early play that can save you a few points of damage from ground attackers in the early-to-mid game. But it also protects the squishy Goblin Welder, who's likely to have targeted removal aimed his way. You can always redirect a kill spell at the 'skite, then save him with Master Transmuter and replay him later, or just weld him out after activating his ability and get extra value out of his death.

Some of the fatties may not seem super flashy, but I've been tweaking this deck for a long time and I feel like the creature base works really well for my metagame. They all serve a very specific purpose and they do it well. At various points, I've tried Platinum Emperion, Platinum Angel, Myr Battlesphere , Inkwell Leviathan , Sphinx of the Steel Wind , Nullstone Gargoyle, the list goes on, but this is what I've settled on (for now, at least).

The deck is pretty strong if it's allowed to do its thing, if not down right oppressive. A lot of players will hate you for playing mass LD, so be mindful of that if you decide to build something similar.

One thing I would like to try to fit into the list is a means of dealing with powerful permanents that neuter my gameplan... Things like Humility, Ground Seal / Grafdigger's Cage, etc. I'm considering maybe trying to find room for ~3 Chaos Warp, but I don't know what to take out... The list seems pretty tight to me already. Suggestions are welcome! Thanks.
