Hey!

So several things..

For the Sideboard, Tokens and Graveyard decks aren't what's being played right now in GPs and ProTours. You are going to want to have answers to Jund, USA, Affinity, Melira Pod, and a few others. Also, I think one of the BEST kill spells in Modern right now is Smother . Go for the Throat isn't as good because it can't kill the pesty artifacts in Affinity builds, and quite plain and simple, Doom Blade doesn't kill Dark Confidant ?

Thanks for the comment AlexOAwesome. In effect you were right, my deck had many problems with this kind of strategies (expecially affinity). Thanks for the Smother tip: I decided to put 4xSurgical Extraction and 4xExtirpate in my maybeboard, they can help me a lot, in fact I added more milling sources.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi. I've looked through your Mill deck. Rather interesting! I'm playing mill legacy (Esper though), and am having a lot of trouble against merfolk and/or control decks. Especially merfolk with insane amounts of counterspells in general, and with AEther vial. Have any advice on strategies against a merfolk/control deck? +1 from here! Cheers.

The deck seems ok...but what really got my attention is how you broke down the strategy and the illustrations you used, never before i've seen such a complete guide in tapped out, you have my vote for that

Longest, most in depth deck description ever lol.

I saw you listed Archive Trap but aren't main boarding it. Dude, 13 cards for FREE!!!

Also, Nemesis of Reason is a beast...

I have a mill deck:

Thanks you very much Sinadra! I'm happy you like it, and thanks for the compliment!! :)

For Chrillan90: thanks! In effect I thought this deck 2 weeks ago (it had both strategies Duskmantle Guildmage and Consuming Aberration /Artful Dodge when I did it 1 month ago), so I didn't try it with many decks. Anyway you're right, mill decks aren't advantaged with control decks (or if an opponent casts Witchbane Orb ), but I think mill decks have some useful spells able to defeat a control/merfolk deck. Usually merfolk decks use dangerous cards like Master of the Pearl Trident or Talrand, Sky Summoner (for example), useful in every situation of play: if you can exile all these cards you're so advantaged, and that's why I use Extirpate and Surgical Extraction in my sideboard, they can do an awesome work. Obviously you need a deck that can mill 20 cards in 3-4 turns in order to exile these cards, so your deck should be very fast. Hedron Crab is very useful if you combo it with Deprive , a very nice counter; that's true, in legacy you can play Counterspell , but I think Deprive (or Arcane Denial if your deck is very "strong") can be better. Dispel is perfect against control decks :)In the end Extirpate and Surgical Extraction are perfect with these kind of decks!

I hope you can understand my english, previous paragraph was difficoult and I had some difficulties writing it. Ask me if you didn't understand! :)

To aeonstoremyliver: thanks for the comment! :)

The problem with Archive Trap is that I can't be sure that my opponent will search its library during the match, and I don't like the combo with Ghost Quarter , because it potentially deletes me 4 land spaces. That's true,decks like eldrazi in modern use many cards like Expedition Map , but I can't be sure. Anyway, I'm still considering it, but only in my sideboard.

Personally I don't like Nemesis of Reason , it doesn't give me the chance to win the match in 2 turns after the casting (Consuming Aberration and Artful Dodge give me this opportunity). I'm considering also Sewer Nemesis . :)

In response to you borto1412

Thanks for your comment. I've updated my own deck now, by introducing different forms of control. Example: Switched out Propaganda with Meekstone (4th edition). If you have the time, would be awesome if you'd have a look at my deck and throw in some thoughts. Current setup is primarily against aggro and creature decks - with some switching out to do between the specific kinds of decks. As an extra update, by switching out Propaganda with Meekstone it definitly turn the tables completely!!

Thanks anyway, awesome deck +1 from here =)

This deck is awesome, but I also have a question about the description: How do you color some of the words in the description, and how do you get pictures into the description? Awesome deck, +1.

Thanks buffy. Reguarding the formatting (colors and images) everything is based on HTML :).

How to color: < font color="#colorcode" > COLORED TEXT < / font >
(you should remove the space after the first "<", the space before the first ">", the spaces before and after "/" and the space after the second "font"). You should replace "colorcorde" (keeping the quotes and the "#") with your color code, you can see code colors from here: RGB CODES (using the "RGB Hex" column's codes).

Reguarding images you should do so: < img src="image link" >< /img >
As before you should delete the space after the first "<", the space before the first ">", the space after the second "<", and the space after "/a";
You should replace "image link" copying the image URL (right click on the image, copy image link).

If you want to center an image (or a paragraph, it is the same process) you should do so:

< div align="center" > ---HERE GOES THE IMAGE OR THE PARAGRAPH--- < /div >
delete spaces like before.

If you have other question ask me :)

Wabbbit says... #15

Thanks a lot! Everything worked but the centering an image!

You are awesome! :P

Is Watery Grave not in the budget?

Also, another question: how did you do the menu?

May 3, 2013 9:05 p.m.

borto1412 says... #17

In order to do the menu you've to do a table (you can do that by reading this guide ). I simply done a title (menu); then, on the left I put an index and on the right an image.

In order to do the "anchor links" you have to specify the "div name", you can read this guide.

For centered images, you should put the "< img > .... < / img >" tag INTO the < div align="center" > HERE GOES THE IMAGE < / div>
(so < img >..... < / img > will replace "HERE GOES THE IMAGE". :)

May 4, 2013 6:23 a.m.

borto1412 says... #18

Another tip for buffy: when you anchor a link tapped-out has a little bug (it drops down the anchored paragraph). In order to delete this error you should put "< br >< br >< br > (without spaces) before the anchored paragraph (< br > is the code for "new line").

For expample:

< a href="#example > GO TO THE EXAMPLE < /a >
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
< br >< br >< br >< a name="example" >< /a > CONTENT OF THE PARAGRAPH

Check this card out Vapor Snag I played modern last friday with my infect deck and this sweety slowed the crap out of me and gave the dude a smooth win.

borto1412 says... #20

I don't like very much Watery Grave : a mill deck can't defense itself wery well and two more points lost for a land are too much.

Vapor Snag is fine, the problem is... where can I put it? :)

Witchbane Orb does nothing against Megrim or Liliana's Caress

May 8, 2013 6:03 p.m.

To S0lariss: Why did you say that Witchbane Orb does nothing against Megrim ? Megrim target a player so... But I agree with you reguarding Liliana's Caress .

To niggnight: Thanks for the comment! But I think there are better cards (like Wight of Precinct Six :). Anyway I added it to my list!

to borto1412: pls tell me were you find the word target on Megrim
