What would you remove to put in Archive Trap? It just does so much work with all the fetch lands.

Hey there, I have gone through your sideboard and it seems to be quite slow. I do agree that Witchbane Orb might be nice against burn, but sometimes it may be too late to cast it on turn 4 and it would not save you. Much more effective against burn would be Chalice of the Void set to 1 counter - this would counter majority of the burn spells and their creatures. Additionally, this can be used against aggro decks such as G/W Auras, Delver decks, Zoo decks and so on.

I don't know your meta, but instead of Grafdigger's Cage I would use Ravenous Trap - I do agree that the cage is better as a long term solution, however the Ravenous Trap does not cost you the precious mana you would otherwise spend on some mill spell and you are also able to response to reshuffle effects such as the ones represented by Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (you might encounter that creature in some Tron builds and the reshuffle effect might cost you your victory) or by Elixir of Immortality. You would also be able to somehow protect yourself against some Storm builds thanks to the Trap.

Instead of Silent Arbiter I would go for Crypt Incursion. You would side the Arbiter in only against some aggro decks with many creatures. At that point I think that the Incursion is better as, unlike the Arbiter, it cannot be removed by a kill spell, it costs less mana and can be used at instant speed. It might also be used against Burn (they usually play around 12 creatures).

If you go for the Ravenous Trap in the sideboard, I would also add the Archive Trap to the main board (as someone above me already mentioned) and I would add some copies of Trapmaker's Snare to the main as well - It would be able to search you a piece of your sideboard and it would act as extra copies of the Archive Trap - both of these modes seem OK to me.

I know you have already defined your Wincon, but since you are using Consuming Aberration i can't help but to Suggest you runing 2 Phenax, God of Deception... i know i know, he is too slow, he doesn't turn into a creature very often but that is NOT the point of it. Phenax + Aberration Normaly means '' Mill your opponent equal to the number of cards in his grave'', it is just a Suggestion Tough.Another one: Hedron Crab Only is a viable Milling otion if you are playing Fetches, i don't want to sound aggressive in my comment but he only get it's value on a Mill deck when you get 3 lands in play while he is there, this is mostly achieved with fetches. if you don't have the MOney for Polluted Deltas and/or Bloodstained Mires i Highly recomend Swaping the crabs for Fog Banks and Wall of Frost.I love B/U , and i love Milling. hope my comment is of some help.sorry for any Grammar errors i'm not a natural English Speaker ;D

Love the deck mine is very similar. There is in fact a better creature in my option because of the 1 less cmc Sewer Nemesis is exactly the same but you don't even need an island. Although the ability is worse still imagine winning 2 turns earlier because of not having to wait for 5 mana.

Hey, would you be willing to take a look at my deck Mill into Oblivion and give me your thoughts? I'm trying to make it as competitive as a mill deck can be and I could use some help.

Infinite Obliteration And Ruinous Path might find home here

Ruinous path kills Planeswalker and creature. Worth the extra mana over Go for the Throat

Infinite obliteration in side board gives you the ability to take controls snap caster mage out the game or the New jade. We Mill their deck so main board possibly since we Will know most their deck

First, this is a awesome deck and I love it. I have played with it against a deck that runs 4 leyline of sanctity. I found that most of heavy mill cards at the deck become useless and I could's find a good way to counter that. The only answer that I found at your sideboard is Ratchet Bomb, but i think it is too slow. Any suggestion?

Have you considered using Thoughtsieze? Once you figure out what your opponent is playing, you could screw their whole deck by using Thoughtsieze into a Surgical Extraction.

I know mill is always trying to protect their life total, so you could also run Inquisition of Kozilek

Can't believe nobody remembered Altar of Dementia!!! It combos beautifully with Consuming Aberration or any big creature you may have. Cheers!!!

Yes, but at the same time mill decks are trying to protect themselves and win by mill. If they sac their creatures it leaves them vulnerable. Yes that is a good combo if they are already about to die, but wouldn't it be better to have other cards that are guaranteed to mill without losing their creatures?

@Jack-Frost:

Yes, Altar of Dementia has its flaws, but I was just suggesting it for the list, not for the deck. Maybe I should have made myself a little more clear. Sorry about that.

"2) As you probably see, I'm not english, and my writing isn't perfect so, if you want, tall me what is something wrong in my description, and I will correct it!."

"English", should be capitalized, and you meant to write "tell", but instead wrote "tall".
