I guess the main oddity is that it relies heavily on a 2 drop 1/1. Which is just not very stable.. and overall, even with a great mana curve, might end up being too slow anyways.
I'm gonna test it tho

My friend ran a mill deck that used Jace, Memory Adept along with Jace's Mindseeker and Mind Sculpt. Super annoying to go against
