A "new" deck of mine, though technically I made this deck online a few years ago (2020, I think?) and just never put into paper even though it was supposed to be my third deck. It's intended to be a synthesis of my Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Ephara, God of the Polis decks, combining both sacrifice and blink effects to make use of the creatures I steal. Either I sacrifice the creatures I no longer need to steal something more useful/threatening, or I blink them with cards that specify returning them under my control to keep them permanently.

I played this deck a few times on Cockatrice back then and it seemed to work rather well, but obviously that was years ago. The deck is more or less the same from what I remember. I have three main concerns: the first is that Merieke is susceptible to removal, and obviously people don't like having their stuff stolen, so she's prime bait for it. The second is that I don't really have a wincon of my own; the way I remember playing it is just stealing people's big creatures and hitting them with it, but otherwise the deck doesn't do much on her own. Typically I include one "I win" combo in all my decks to close out a game or act as a killswitch. And finally, mass removal. Barring a few counterspells, I don't have any way of recovering from a boardwipe or really protecting myself from one.

Help addressing these issues and fine-tuning the deck to be more effective and resilient would be appreciated. I don't expect the deck to make a whole lot of friends given Merieke's effect, but I'm willing to bite that bullet. Potentially, I might convert this into a Sen Triplets deck, but I like Merieke because of the ability to be more proactive and controlling of board states.
