Maybeboard

Best Cards in Maybeboard to add

Panharmonicon to double ETB effects.

Conjurer's Closet use ETB's at the end of your turn.

Avenger of Zendikar and or Craterhoof Behemoth for a win con or just good value.

Cloudshift for a cheap bounce

Return to Dust/Krosan Grip for best enchantment removal

Cultivate/Thought Vessel RAAAAMMMPPPP

Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict because I think the deck needs at least one more clear.

Restoration Angel for value and for some cool tricks.

Prime Speaker Zegana and Bane of Progress for their value.

Great Whale for another way to access infinite mana/bounce.

Soul of the Harvest is great to draw cards in the late game when you start running out.

Knight-Captain of Eos provides consistent protection from on board creature threats.

Of the gods that I know you have, Kruphix, God of Horizons and Nylea, God of the Hunt are the most viable in the deck. The no max hand size and dump your mana into the pool isn't too bad for Kruphix and Nylea could be a finisher provided you have enough mana. Other than Ephara I'd consider these two but I'd prioritize other cards first.

Note: I'd also consider cutting the Bident of Thassa and MAYBE Explosive Vegetation if you find you have enough lands.

Cool Combos and Tricks to consider

Restoration Angel/Ghostly Flicker/Cloudshift/Eerie Interlude/Momentary Blink comboed with Fiend Hunter can be utilized to exile a creature permanently. A little bit confusing but here is how it works. You play Fiend Hunter targeting an arbitrary creature which we will call Elf. Then in response to this we will flash in Restoration Angel targeting Fiend Hunter. At this point at the bottom of the stack we have Fiend Hunters ability that exiles Elf and on top of that the triggered ability of Restoration Angel exiling Fiend Hunter. Then we let the first ability resolve. Restoration Angel exiles the Fiend Hunter and returns him. At this point Fiend Hunter will enter the battlefield AGAIN. You will select a new arbitrary target which we will call Goblin. So now the stack has "Exile Elf" on the bottom and "Exile Goblin" on top. Both resolve but only the only one Fiend Hunter "remembers" is Goblin. This trick occurs if and only if you can exile or return the Fiend Hunter to his owners hand IN RESPONSE to his exile ability. Note that this permanently exiles Elf and Goblin is taken care of until Fiend Hunter leaves play. You can also stack your triggers with Conjurer's Closet.

Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake grant infinite bounces. When either Deadeye or the Drake enter you can pair them and then use two mana to untap five lands by bouncing the Drake. Because the ability costs 1 and a blue and you untap 5 lands with each bounce, you have access to infinite colored mana. Then you can use the infinite mana to exile and return the Deadeye Navigator himself and pair him with any other creature with an enter the battlefield effect. Now you have infinite mana and can bounce any creature on your board an infinite amount of times. Have fun returning all of your opponents spells and permanents to their owner's hands with Venser, Shaper Savant!

Roon of the Hidden Realm and Perplexing Chimera have an interesting interaction. Let's work through a scenario. Your opponent plays a Swords to Plowshares targeting Roon. Oh no! Since you do not want this to happen you exchange control of Perplexing Chimera and the Swords. You target your opponents creature with Swords. Typically exchanging control of the Chimera and the spell means you do not have access to the Chimera and you give the opportunity for someone else to take your spells in the future. However with Roon of the Hidden Realm's bounce ability you can exile the Chimera and when it comes back, it comes back under YOUR control because you are the owner of the Chimera. So this means you can control other peoples spells without the fear of losing the Chimera.

The Stax package. Knowing you want to play control you could abuse some ETB effects to lock out your opponents from playing their cards. I'd consider these not because they are great cards but because they suit your playstyle and work with Roon. These include Lavinia of the Tenth, Reflector Mage, Stonehorn Dignitary, Aven Mindcensor and Fiend Hunter. You also already have some great cards to complement this strategy like Venser, Shaper Savant and Rhystic Study.
