||Version 2.3|| (This deck is both in Paper and MTGO)

The first time I saw Roon of the Hidden Realm I immediately thought of the Innistrad block and how much fun was had with Ghostly Flicker and Cloudshift for M13 standard. (Sets included Innistrad, Dark Ascension, Avacyn Restored, M13, Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash and Dragon's Maze)

I enjoy enter the battlefield effects and believe they are very strong to have in your arsenal. The majority of the triggers in this deck either draw cards, setup the many win conditions, or stabilize board presence/tilt.

There are plenty of 'answers' for common issues in EDH games. Some of these answers are tactical as Path to Exile and Polymorph are often used on MY creature (specifically token) to produce ramp or a better ETB trigger.

The most common way to win is Avenger of Zendikar + Craterhoof Behemoth through entwined Tooth and Nail, however there are other tutoring and trigger effects that search out creatures and put them into play. (Elvish Piper, Birthing Pod, Pattern of Rebirth, Defense of the Heart, and recursive creatures, etc.)

I have focused towards power and stability instead of other Roon decks that generalize around the creature base and decided not to play a single Counterspell. Rarely does Roon hit the field, and when he does, it is usually to draw a Murder out.

=======================

To this date the most awkward win I've had is versus a Nekusar deck, only having Elvish Visionary enchanted with Gift of Immortality and Jace, Memory Adept on the board.
