This is my first Commander deck, with the bulk of cards coming from Evasive Maneuvers, one of the Commander 2013 decks. I'm focusing more on Roon, because I feel like the blinking is really fun mechanic to use. Initially, I modified the original deck from TopAndGoProductions video based on the deck, but I also added other cards that I felt would better serve towards the overall theme of the deck after awhile and lots of searching through Gatherer. Essentially, this deck relies heavily on being able to blink and having creatures with good/great ETB effects to blink. Once it has been setup, you will start falling into a great rhythm, like just playing 3 lands every turn, detaining permanents with Lavinia of the Tenth, or destroying select artifacts and enchantments. Once in the rhythm, you are going to be recycling (hence the name) your creatures ETB effects, spells that you've already used, and cleaning up your opponents board spotless.
The win condition for the deck is essentially being able to blink creatures with great and relevant ETB effects, and attacking. All games I have won have been because I stopped my opponent from setting up his board, and I attacked with everything that I can. I don't win because of Commander damage most of the time, but because my opponents life went to 0. However, I have yet to play this deck in multiplayer, so I might have to change my tactics for a group.
With the new rule allowing mana being made outside of the commander's color identity, Bring to Light is a really great tutor, which I use most of the time for Reclamation Sage, Reflector Mage, or Lavinia of the Tenth, if I can get the five colors, or any other situational card that you might need to get the game back in your favor. I have used it to get Unexpectedly Absent, in order to get rid of Torpor Orb, just to get my momentum back and running.
For Supply/Demand, I only use Demand, and I recommend only using Demand. There are rarely situations you need 1/1 tokens for this deck, and you more likely can get a card that will put you in a better advantage with Demand. Something I do is tutor for Bring to Light, which then lets me get any certain creature, instant, or sorcery I might need.
Wonder is a card you want in your graveyard, and it doesn't really help much in the battlefield, just as a chump blocker. Something I've done, which is pretty funny, is counter it with Arcane Denial, putting it in the graveyard, giving my creatures flying, and giving me three cards, all for 6 mana. Seems really silly, but its not really a waste of a counter, since we can usually get back our counters with Archaeomancer or Eternal Witness. Even so, I am thinking about replacing it with either Solemn Offering or Revoke Existence, since it is hard to put in the graveyard.
This might be a bit obvious, but Eerie Interlude with either Wash Out, Kirtar's Wrath, or in response to Cyclonic Rift is really awesome, since it takes away the negatives of the cards.
Speaking of Kirtar's Wrath, this is also a card I might replace, with Supreme Verdict. It costs less, and can't be countered. The Threshold ability is good, but I rarely have too many things in my graveyard, since I am recycling the spells I have used.
There is a infinite mana combo in this deck, with Cloud of Faeries + Deadeye Navigator
. I have yet to be able to do this, but it is there. the video explaining that combo is here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1roQ_abZu8o)
Karmic Guide + Mirror Entity + Reveillark
is a cool combo to set off infinite ETB effects, or really however much you want. You have to put however many instances of Mirror Entity's ability with 0 mana, killing all your things, and so Reveillark triggers, bringing back two things, one of them being Karmic Guide and something else you want, and then Karmic Guide triggers, getting something from the graveyard. This happens however many times you put Mirror Entity's ability on the stack. To avoid killing everything, you could Eerie Interlude everything you want to not die.
If you need to discard a card from your hand, either because you of an opponent's spell, or you have more than seven cards, you should always first pick Wonder (it belongs in the graveyard), then any of cards with CMC 6 or higher, with the exception of Prime Speaker Zegana maybe. Cards like Sun Titan or Diluvian Primordial were most likely not going to played in the game anyway, and it actually helps if it is in your graveyard, since we have Karmic Guide to recycle them for free.
Unexpectedly Absent is actually a great way to stop your opponent from tutoring, because if you put something important in their deck, once they tutor for something else, that card you put in will be lost in the deck.
