I've finally returned to MTG after several years of not playing due to lack of people to play with. So my first idea for a nice competitive deck was to use some cards from the Event Deck Battle For Zendikar:Ultimate Sacrifice, and combine it with strategies from the most recent Golgari set. I know this deck isn't perfect, after all, It's been a long while since I've built any decks, and there might be a land problem considering I haven't put that many lands (I refuse to use Evolving Wilds.. since I can just use a real land in it's place, so it makes no difference unless I need to exile cards from my graveyard.) But the general strategy is to willingly sacrifice creatures, or throw them at blocking creatures and allow them to die, then to take advantage of that by either powering up the creatures already on your board, or expanding the creatures on your board with the Eldrazis you have. Take note, these are made only from cards I have (Seriously lucky with the 4 Lotleth Trolls I somehow acquired XD). I believe Corpsejack Menace might be a risky choice, but considering his mechanic and mana cost relative to his power and toughness, I think he's a fair edition as long as I don't use too many of him and crowd my sacrifice and scavenge creatures out of the deck's card amount limit. And Varolz I feel will help add to the Scavenge mechanic, though I do not know whether or not it will work on tokens, if it does, Varolz will be able to scavenge up some plus one counters for relatively zero mana cost (which is efficient since tokens disappear from the graveyard).

I welcome suggestions, and also any clarification on the issue over scavenging Tokens with Varolz, The Scar Striped (actually have 4 of him too, I seriously don't get my broken luck..)
