Deep-Slumber Titan
is the Mike Tyson of this shit. The Fight mechanic is perfect to turn his drawback into a benefit! He's a 7/7 on turn 4 which means he will probably survive the fight, but when he fights, he also UNTAPS! Which can allow him to swing once you take out a blocker. And he does pretty well with the Basilisk Collar since the damage dealt to to creatures from a Fight still counts as Deathtough or Lifelink damage!!
Vigor is such a great addition to this deck that I put in 3
Mwonvuli Beast Tracker
to help tutor him up. Also, the Beast Tracker fills the barren 3-drop spot AND does well with a Basilisk Collar, either as a Fighter or blocker. She can also fetch Acidic Slime to handle Artifacts and Enchantments, or she can fetch Silklash Spider to handle fliers. Pretty versatile lady. If you find yourself without enough mana to cast whatever she would search for, I put in Sylvan Caryatid, which she can find due to it's Hexproof.
Speaking of Silklash Spider, it's a great creature to fight with because of it's toughness.
Vigor makes
Deep-Slumber Titan
HUGE when he fights. If you are vs tokens or other small blockers, use Kessig Wolf Run to bust through. Also a slick thing to do with the Kessig Wolf Run is when Vigor is out and you are fighting, give your opponent's creature the +X/+0, and it will put MORE +1/+1 counters on your creature as a result of Vigor's ability! Your creature won't die anyway so might as well!
If you need another win condition, if for instance someone keeps tapping down your Titan, you can power him up with
Savage Punch
or
Setessan Tactics
and then fight the Hornet Nest! Eight or more 1/1 flying deathtouchers is a pretty good offense and not a bad defense either. With Vigor out, it's just stupid how many tokens you get.
