This deck is a simple strat, but left unchecked, gets out of control. The all star in the deck is none other than Corpsejack Menace. To win, simply drop him out with anything that gets counters from a Gyre Sage(get back to that in a minute), Scute Mob and Primordial Hydra.

The idea is that you get, say, a Scute Mob out on turn 1/2 and then let it sit. Get some more creatures out and then use Overwhelming Stampede to literally remove your opponent from existence. If that fails, then drop a Rancor and wait.

So, the Gyre Sage actually plays a huge role if played right. Drop it out and play Increasing Savagery it now has at least four counters, and if played with a Corpsejack Menace can be used to cast it for flashback and make it or the menace bigger.

Now, I know it’s going to come up so I’ll say it again, I play kitchen table first and foremost, but challenge myself to make my decks close to modern if possible, so if I have to play modern, I’ll replace the Green Sun's Zenith with another Rancor or something thanks.

In play, it’s rather effective any my opponent running a life gain deck was barely able to stay above 5.

I how you enjoy and appreciate this, and Happy Hunting.
