Rule 0 list that constitutes the Archenemy of my Legends pod, very much a WiP, aiming for a very strong 6 for this. This is probably a 2 or 3, but it's meant to be a relatively strong deck that recovers well from multiple setbacks, perfect for an Archenemy scenario.

This deck is based around the Partners, founders of The Legends of Dominaria, Rubinia Soulsinger, the true Archenemy herself, and her henchman Boris Devilboon, who hates his job so he keeps summoning up lesser demons to do his stupid chores, much to the chagrin of Rubinia! You'd never believe it today, but Boris used to be HANDSOME, called him Boris Ladyboon! I know! Anyways, that's the deck. This was built out of Cute 2 Brute, a deck that I love to poke fun at, but ultimately felt like using the mana base of whole cloth. I switched up some obvious stuff for trade binder cards, hopefully this will improve the deck. The Sideboard is the 5 OG Elder Dragons, if you have either Commander out you can pay {3} to put one of them into hand from you sideboard (like a companion, but there are 5 of the buggers, and they're all terrible). I allowed it because the deck can sometimes run out of gas, and I wasn't doing anything with the Elder Dragon cards I had (which seemed like a travesty) coupled with the illegal partners not being all that strong made it seem like a good Rule 0 thing. Most games they aren't even brought to hand, let alone cast.

Ruby, the Brains (and Beauty) Behind the Operation Show

Rubinia Soulsinger is a wondrous Faerie that got fed up with the incompetence of the various human empires, tired of losing brethren to the chaos their wars engendered, and tired of the 'famous' people making such a mess of things for the Fair Folk! Rubinia realized her people would need to be proactive, and so she studied Control Magic until she could dominate even an Elder Dragon. Rubinia used powerful rituals (prepared painstakingly by her henchman, Boris Devilboon) to lock the 5 most important Elder Dragons to serve her, and even to this day they await her call. Due to her proactive nature she's not to be trifled with, unless it feels like fun to have her dominate you and have you walk into a Lord of the Pit!

Boris Devilboon (formerly Ladyboon), Her Totally Amazing Assistant Who Definitely Loves His Job Show

Boris is a very bargain basement Lich, and if he was more powerful he probably wouldn't need so have made a pact to get Minor Demons to do his more onerous chores (because seriously, he's a LICH, he's supposed to have STANDARDS! SO NO HE WON'T EMPTY THE SLOP PAIL!). Since these guys are secretly the failsons of the lowliest archfiends (the ones they want to keep hidden, lest they humiliate their sire) they are all terrible at any task you can imagine, combining laziness, stupidity, and extreme entitlement to mostly loaf around and complain instead of doing their assigned chores; these are the losers who couldn't hack it as a Chimney Imp, so they are bound to serve this guy for eternity. Ruby sometimes gets fed up when they fail badly enough (no matter how emphatically Boris insists he has no idea how a Minor Demon got in, AGAIN, and screwed up, AGAIN, doing a chore assigned to Boris AGAIN, somehow she just KNOWS he's responsible. I guess it's one of those unsolveable mysteries they make TV shows about... What, I heard about them on Duskmorn!), but Boris manages to do just well enough to consistently be worth keeping around. Since he designed the rituals that bound the 5 most powerful Elder Dragons, he's equally able to summon them in a pinch (should, you know, a Minor Demon not cut it for some reason (like drinking on the job))!

The Invasion of Phyrexia (Part 1) Show

Tired of the both the half-hearted efforts of the fool Urza (who obviously wanted Phyrexia to win) and the intermittent Phyrexian invasions, Ruby decided that the multiverse would simply be better off without that specific annoyance, so she rallied The Five Legends, along with their allies, and with the power of an ancient Gate they crossed the planes to repay Phyrexia for it's arrogant aggression.

Oh such a sight! the The Phyrexian Superman lead the charge, much to the (brief) amusement of the Phyrexian that came to 'greet' them; a mere human, with neither augmentations nor skills could be no threat to the perfection of Phyrexia! Alas, in a flash of lightning the Hand of Doom struck Pavel, and flames poured from him as he took flight, one could almost feel the disquiet in the teeming Phyrexian hordes; what human had powers like this? Back on Dominaria Pavel's allies, the Dwarves, channeled their limitless resources into Pavel, filling him with strength, and with the fury of Tarkir Pavel blasted through the biggest Phyrexian he could find, then the next, then the next! This could be no mere mortal, tearing through the might of Phyrexia like they were made of straw!

Their shock turned sharply to fear as they heard a wail that seemed to crack the very layer, as the dread image of Ulamog was summoned by Sunastian Falconer, and his host of Eldazi began to appear amongst the Phyrexians, who watched in horror as parts of their 'sacred' plane began to be annihilated. Phyrexian magictech proved worthless vs these horrors, and the Phyrexians quickly began to retreat.

Back near the gate, Ruby raised her hands and out of the gate came the 5 most infamous Elder Dragons, flying high above the battle field they wrought havoc amongst the unprepared Phyrexians. Meanwhile, an army of the bravest of men came with Lord Magnus at the fore, many armed with nothing but a pitchfork and a heart full of love for nature: while the Phyrexians would normally have had little difficulty with these, in the absolute chaos being created they proved more than up to the task.

As the Phyrexians began retreat turned to a route, the final surprises revealed themselves, as from the shadows poured forth the various naer-do-wells of Riven Turnbull, their dirty tricks proving very effective vs the fleeing foes, and when the Phyreians arrived at the entrance to the next sphere, only to find a host of angels, headed by Tobias Andrion, piloting Parhelion II, his flagship, with the ground protected by a colossal army of rhinos! Dread Yawgmoth could only watch in horror as his forces were crushed between the massed forces, but that horror turned to despair as he realized the true power of the Eldrazi Titans, as two more appeared and began, well, reformatting his perfect empire!
