This deck is a homebrew that I am currently running in FNMs and hope to tweak up until the next gameday. I am looking for advice on how to deal with various competitive decks, may that be changes to main deck or sideboard. This deck is vaguely based on the Pre-Theros standard combo deck using
Armed / Dangerous
+ Artful Dodge + Nivix Cyclops for a turn 4 win. With Artful Dodge out of standard, I ended up adding green to toss in
Flesh / Blood
as well as
Dragonshift
. Now, without further ado, here is the various reasoning behind the picks in the deck.
-Nivix Cyclops: This thing can put out crazy damage. Additionally, its 4 toughness allows it survive an Anger of the Gods (and then swing for 4)
-Guttersnipe: In an emergency, guttersnipe can deal a fair amount of damage, though it never does anything near what a good Nivix Cyclops can. In the past I have used them to skirt out removal before playing a cyclops.
-Goblin Electromancer: Although it cannot discount

, it makes
Dragonshift
only cost 2, which allows for really beautiful turn 4 wins. (This turn 2, Nivix Cyclops turn 3, turn 4

on top of them on the stack allows for lethal damage, assuming no flying blockers)

: This was in the original deck for the double strike, and this deck uses it for the same thing. Additionally, since I have green, I can potentially (one-in-a-million) fuse it and force the opponent to block another creature while Nivix Cyclops swings for lethal.

: Effectively acts as 4 more copies of
Armed / Dangerous
, though this can be used to selectively kill creatures and planeswalkers.

: Using this on Nivix Cyclops gives you a 7/4 flyer. Using this in response to an
Armed / Dangerous
on a Nivix Cyclops gives you an 11/5 flying double strike. Need I say more?
-Mizzium Skin: The reason why Abrupt Decays's art is never going to happen. Also nice against pretty much all removal, sans verdict.
-Anger of the Gods: My LGS has a Colossal Gruul deck, as well as multiple RDW, Selesnya Aggro, and Mono-White Devotion. I need this.
-Hypersonic Dragon: I am poor, and this 50 cent version of Stormbreath makes my deck really fast.
-Simic Charm: This thing does it all. The Giant Growth effect is doubly effective on Nivix Cyclops, the hexproof acts as 4 more Mizzium Skin, and the Unsummon helps me play around mass removal.
