Archive Trap , Mindbreak Trap , Pact of Negation , Blustersquall , Myr Superion , Pact of the Titan , and Summoner's Pact are all pretty good.

Sorry, forgot about one of my previous comments and didn't notice your mabeyboard.

Not really recommending this card, but it would be an awesome/epic finisher: Liege of the Tangle .

I've put a comment regarding updating your 4-Color Life Grind deck.

Switched out Explore for Rites of Flourishing to see if continual draw/land is better...seems like a huge upgrade; but gotta test to find out!

Cool! Honestly, you could also use some cantrips, especially Gitaxian Probe , but, that's just an idea so I don't know how good that would really be...

scorpix...Gitaxian Probe is always a good idea! Such a great card . I will definitely be testing it in here. Its one of the top 10 blue cards in modern in my opinion; and knowing your opponents hand while cantripping is nearly always worth it! Great suggestion.

I think Explore was better than Rites of Flourishing . It synergizes better, it doesn't give your opponent any advantages, and it isn't as mana-intensive. In a pinch, you can imprint Panoptic Mirror with Explore as well, and can triple-cast it with Chandra at absolute worst. Rites may give you more advantages after you start your multi-turn synergy storm, but Explore helps out immediately and cantrips, in case your hand was just slightly less than desirable. I think Rites may have a place in here, but I don't think it was Explore 's place.
Also, ever the triton's advocate, I think a singleton Kiora, the Crashing Wave should be put in for one Temporal Mastery . With all the card-draw the deck can make with Rites/Explore, and Chandra's psuedo-draw, it makes Temporal Mastery a 50/50 card unless you have seven mana open NOW. Plus, she will effectively buy you more turns, anyway, since she can neutralise anything with no effort, and Explore for dayz.

I would consider running Tamiyo, the Moon Sage if you can find a spot. Not only can she lock down a board, but her -8 off a doubling season could straight up win you the game. It can be like another Panoptic Mirror except you pay for your time warps! Also after play testing this I have found that although Garruk Wildspeaker is quite good, I seem to run into him a little too often. Maybe you could cut one for a Tamiyo.

rastarracer....I love the idea of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage ....it may even be better than Panoptic Mirror in many cases!
I will DEFINITELY be testing this....for now, it's going in :) Thank you for the suggestion!

KERANOS!!! Definitely going to see if he will fit in here :)

Hah, you guys really do like Savor the Moment . I like how it can double as a mana ramp spell if you have nothing better to play on T3 (T2 with birds/hierarch). Also.... Infinite Turnnnnnnns!! Sick deck. :)

Another idea with Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is that say you have Ral Zarek in hand and you play Tamiyo, use her -8 to get any card back, play Ral Zarek then you kill him when u use his ultimate, get him back again etc
now this requires many coin flipping, your fingers might hurt, they might even bleed but if thats what it takes to make your opponent flip the table then SO BE IT!

Kiora, the Crashing Wave . It's free Explore , helps defend, and even though it can't be cast, then immediately ultimated with Doubling Season , it's ult is a perfect win-con for taking lots of turns.

@Crazybop09 : Ral Zarek ultimating after being played can only be done with Doubling Season in play, and his ult costs 7 loyalty, while Ral has 8 loyalty if there's a Season in play. The only way the deck could put him in the yard after that would be to Chandra, Pyromaster or Keranos, God of Storms , both of which are once a turn effects, and Keranos can't even do it the same turn, because he's already triggered.

With Twoo's recent channelfireball article about his brew of a competitive doubling season deck, we thought we would re-post our list from a year ago. We haven't updated it since Gatecrash so we would love to hear any suggestions. This deck is super fun to play. Twoo's deck uses Jace and Fog instead of Ral Zarek and Chandra, but the core idea about planewalkers and extra turns is the same as our deck.
It is completely possible that Twoo came up with his deck separately without seeing our brew or anyone else's brew, so we don't want people to think that Twoo necessarily borrowed our idea. We just figured with the popularity his deck is getting we wanted to show an alternative that we made.
Thanks for looking!

Hi guys, great to see you back in the game! I hope the new lil' bro is happy and healthy! :3
I really like the concept of this deck. A few things I would like to point out:
I don't like Nissa, Worldwaker here. I really don't. She can't be cast T3 like Garruk, and really has no tactile benefit. I would get rid of her for another PrimeTime.
I'm sure you've considered him, but: Ajani Steadfast? Probably as a 1-of (instead of Kiora, who seems a bit lackluster.)
With doubling season out, he allows any of your walkers to Ultimate the turn after they come out w/o killing them. That's pretty huge. With PrimeTime out, he can give you some breathing room by making it a vigilance/lifelink. (a lot of the top tier decks are currently damage based. Affinity/scapeshift/RDW/Delver all win through teh damages. A 7/7 lifelink vig. in their face is usually GGs.)
I would not put more than 2 of him in the deck at max. Adding him is pretty easy for this deck, honestly. Ajani is kinda weird in the sense that he only costs 1 colored mana, and you have 8 white sources, and adding 1 or 2 lands in white shouldn't be a problem. I would not discount him due to him being an off color.

Also, perhaps Turn Aside. There's no real "planeswalker-wipe" that exists, so most-if-not-all effective removal that will come down on your plan will be targeted.

The 4-Color Life Grind deck is from a few standard's ago :) I tend not to continually update old standard decks to try to fit the idea to new standard environments...it was built during it's own environment; and now it doesn't work :( Once the cards rotate, I just move on....is there a way to "stamp" the deck as a prior-standard deck rather than a "current" standard deck? That would be awesome, and I'd appreciate it if you showed me how to do this. I could just add it to the top saying "viable only during X block".
The Grove's are fine. We have them. I should have added them anyways to some extent. Just takes a great mind like yours! I do appreciate the concern though.
Unfortunately, we hadn't looked at this deck for quite some time now (since before Zoo came back and Deathrite was banned etc.) and we never actually put up a viable sideboard based on the "competitive meta".
A streamer, however, last night mentioned and linked the deck during his brewing stream which led to a little renewed interest in the deck.....which meant we needed to update it to the current Modern meta!
I will look into changing the description if something is outdated....not really sure what else there is to change, however. Let me know what you were looking to see changed in the description and we'll see what we can do :)
Thanks again for your suggestions. I'll think some more on your Pod idea and for sure look into your decks! Keep up the good work!
