I playtested it a few times, and I noticed I always was short on white mana. Casting boros charm can be really crucial. If I were you, I'd but in 2 more godless shrines over 2 mountains.

and here I thought that there is to many of them and I should cut them from 4 to 2 :D thanks for suggestion

Perhaps Doom Blade over Ultimate Price ? You have the Dark Betrayal for sideboard already but I believe doom blade would be a bit more, versatile.

This is basically the deck I want to make except I will make a few slight variations one being Tymaret, the Murder King instead of Kragma Warcaller

Did you know about the ruling that says you can use Tamaret's 2nd ability when he is in the graveyard because the ability mentions the graveyard and dosn't require tapping. crazy huh.
January 19, 2014 11:36 p.m.
You don't have to tap for his 2nd ability just the mana (1B). And the point of the ability is to get him out of the grave yard. I'm not sure i understand what you're getting at sorry. And sorry to the deck maker for opening a forum conversation on your deck haha

Nice theme, i am trying to build something similar, Minotaurs Rampage and i think you could make place for Deathbellow Raider to have stuff to play in the first turns, plus he will be a 2/3 for one mana after Ragemonger is out.I think since you have black Thoughtseize would be a good idea also
January 25, 2014 5:17 a.m.
@georgehades I had Deathbellow Raider in my deck but I swapped him for Felhide Spiritbinder . Didn't gave a lot of thought for Thoughtseize . I actually might swap something for it

I feel that Doom Blade is going to be a problem for you with Mono Black Devotion being the #1 played deck in standard right now and they just got the answer they needed in BoG with Drown in Sorrow . I understand Drown in Sorrow doesn't affect you but it means MBD isn't going away. I think you might want to finish out the set of Dreadbore and i'm not sure what to do with the other slots.
January 25, 2014 10:25 a.m.
Rubicks That's why I have things like Dark Betrayal and Bile Blight in sideboard. I 'm thinking about maxing Dreadbore but I'm not sure what to swap with it and Drown in Sorrow is simply not good enough in this deck.

Not being a jerk, it really takes months of playing and trial and error to trim a deck to optimal for the Meta change. Nobodys week 1 BotG deck will stick in all likelyhood unless your an Autistic Sevant in MTG and can calculate all possible card interactions and other top deck builds at 90% accuracy. RAINMAN where are you..waat these aaaren't toothpicks...

ColdHeartedSith you forgot one more type. Stubborn players who uses cards that he/she wants. My tribal vamps and werewolves went without any big change (only added new creatures etc) from start till end. Still have to agree about trial period of deck making. Time will tell how I can improve my deck

To me the pictures and names of cards aren't important its what they do how they work together as a team and if that combination wins often. I save my fasination with fantasy creatures and decks that speak zombie power for home games. In competitive standard I stick to strategy and any big advantage I can get to win. I am a strategist and a competiter. Often my advice is ignored but since nobodys paying for it, and people play this game for different reasons and have different agenda's, sometimes i'm a fit for advice and sometimes not. The thing is I never say what you wanna hear unless there is truth to it .

Tons of minotaur synergy, great use of devotion, and a massive dose of creature removal, card discarding, and direct damage?
...I love it.
February 3, 2014 4:50 a.m.
Thanks. From my point of view only problem with minotaurs is their mana cost. Thats why i have plenty of removals to help them
February 3, 2014 9:37 a.m.
Awesome. I'll even admit that its better than my version of the deck: Burn of the Minotaurs. Looks so good. Have you thought about Skullcrack ? Maybe just sideboard. Probably replacing the two extra Rakdos Charm . You should definitely also make room for that Whip of Erebos in the SB. Again, the deck looks awesome! Great job.
February 6, 2014 4:39 a.m.
Thanks. Skullcrack is in my mind as possible sb against gray merchant, still not sure that it's woth it.I would like to keep Rakdos Charm since it's only answer for artifacts and hilarious to use against Assemble the Legion or reanimator type of decks.

Greetings, fellow Minotaur player. There is only 1 thing about this deck that bugs me. The lack of Kragma Warcaller s. Maybe try 2 more instead of Mizzium Mortars ? In these kind of decks you want more creatures than what you have. Enjoy the laughter and slaughter that is oncoming.
February 7, 2014 4:15 a.m.
Personally I would like to keep Mortars. So far they have been very useful and having playset of Kragma Warcaller imo is to many. I think I'll swap 1 Doom Blade . It's not as efficient as expected

I think having the 2 Nykthos just isn't as good as having the full compliment of Mutavaults man.
February 8, 2014 11:56 a.m.
@corythackston Nykthos is additional mana for Rakdos's Return as well as help with one or other color mana that I might lack during game. Playset of Mutavault was never an option from my point of view. Actually I'm even thinking to swapping them for something

You're gonna need Swamp in order to cast Felhide Minotaur , Kragma Warcaller and to regenerate Deathbellow Raider
