any reason you're not playing fetches? i know the Primeval Titan can fetch up for you but still pretty vital imho

I'm not playing fetches because of the enormous price tag that comes with them. The deck doesn't really need fetches anyway.

This deck just got better, splashing white.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is totally worth it and Path to Exile is always good. It is also better now, after cutting Balefire Dragon .

Cheers. I'm really happy with how it's performing right now and I'm glad you like it. You mentioned a while ago that you were going to build a similar deck. How's that going?

Telerik says... #5

Very well, but I will try out your new deck as soon as possible. This just looks like more fun :-)

Thanks for your deck update :-)

No worries. Again, I'm glad this deck has inspired you to build it yourself.

ABSOLUTELY BEAST: Kill an opponent with a beast token.

DOUBLE VISION: Tap a Somberwald Sage to cast a Somberwald Sage and win.

NEED FOR SPEED: Win by turn 5.

YOU HAD ME AT HELLO: Win by having an Inferno Titan enter the battlefield.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

I'm feeling unappreciated: Win with a swing from a mana dork (Arbor Elf , Birds of Paradise , or Somberwald Sage ).

Walk through the woods: Send one of your own creatures on a Path to Exile and grab a Forest from your library.

Didn't have to look too far: Cast Farseek , then be disappointed when the land you needed was on the top of your library.

II think you have too much in your sideboard geared towards control. If you took out the Ruric Thar, the Unbowed for some Molten Rain , then you could have something to board in against Tron and any deck with a 3-5 color manabase.

I might go for some Sowing Salt for that very reason. Thanks for the advice.

Wow.

I sort of laughed at the seven mana on turn three thing in the description, but then I playtested it and it happened over and over again. 5 times to be exact. Five times in a row.

Awesome, I'm glad you like the deck CardsAndStuff. I admit that the deck doesn't get 7 mana on turn 3 for me as often as it does for you, but I can still get 6 mana turn 3 fairly easily, so it's not all bad. Thanks for the +1.

Hey, TitansFTW, this is the original poster of You know those achievements you can unlock on video games?

I just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that I still haven't gotten enough achievements from you on my decks The Price Is Right, These Cards Aura Some, Smokin' Mirrors, and A Judge's Nightmare. (I only got a total of one.)

Hey man love it just Inferno Titan is holding this deck back horribly

February 7, 2014 11:11 p.m.

megawurmple says... #23

40cal No, it definitely isn't. In my vast experience playing this deck, Inferno Titan has won me too many games to count. It can knock out up to 3 creatures the turn it hits the field, then even more in the following turns. It's basically a free Flames of the Firebrand every single turn. What makes you think it's holding the deck back?

ExpectDragons says... #24

I'd really like to play this deck and have everything but the elesh norn's in my collection but they're not a card i'd like to buy, too expensive for a card i'd only use in one deck on occasion. Anything else you'd play instead of here that's at most is about the same price as an inferno titan?

PooPlayer It really depends on what cards you like. A couple of good replacements include Balefire Dragon , Vigor , Terra Stomper , Pelakka Wurm and Rampaging Baloths . Check out this Gatherer page for more options, and pick whichever you like best.
