Thanks razor557. Worth considering, but it might be a tad weak.

Nice deck, +1. I started making a list of must-haves in rune-tail EDH, and noticed you already had all of them!

don't you worry about having 2 ajanis and 3 elspeths?

Thanks, joriiiii12345. I don't worry, but that's because I've only started playing with planeswalkers this year, so they're quite novel. If I drew both, I'd just kill one and put the next one out. Most of them are just utility enchantments.

@DavidBray Not to be that guy, but Spectral Procession isn't EDH Legal in this deck... It contains mana symbols (Even though they are dual mana symbols) in the mana cost, and therefore aren't legal in EDH... Trust me, I run Mono-white as well, and I would love to run Divinity of Pride, but sadly, I Cannot. (Unless of course your venue has its own house rules for play (Unless tournament))

I, however, will not tell you such dreadful news without giving you an alternative.

Luminarch Ascension

Spectral Procession isn't WB, its W/colourless which is fine. It's only if the dual would go to a colour not in the commander's colour identity. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been in the mono commander deck from Wizards

However, Luminarch Ascension is cool. I'll add it to the maybeboard

Forgot to tag you in Axthen

DavidBray oh derp. Sorry, I'm half blind. Those "2/w" symbols looked like "b/w" symbols. Apologies,But I would definitely add Luminarch instead of Procession. I mean, 4 for 4/4 with flying is great, even for non-tokens. It also pulls counters, because people hate it when you get 3 4/4s every turn.

It seems like Skullclamp shouldn't come out. Put it on an d/1, draw two cards?

Also, if you want to make tokens Heliod, God of the Sun is better than any one time use card.

Thanks MindAblaze. I found with so many +1/+1 effects, most creatures aren't X/1s. However, you're quite right about Heliod. I'm looking for the right spot.

I definitely support repeatable token generation in favor of one-offs.

Some of my favorites are:

Militia's Pride - essentially repeatable Launch the Fleet except you pay W for each creature, you can't use it on existing tokens, and you get Kithkin Soldiers instead.

Mobilization - like Heliod, God of the Sun except 1 less mana for one less power, with the added bonus of having vigilance and adding vigilance to several of your creatures and tokens. Plus with Mirror Entity it buffs everything.

Moonsilver Spear - since it seems you are attacking frequently, this can be quite helpful. It doesn't make as many all at once, which can be a bit of a drawback if trying to recover from a boardwipe, but 4/4 flying angel tokens can give quite the beating.

Nomads' Assembly - while not truly repeatable, this does go off twice due to rebound. It also has the major drawback of being boardwiped between the first and second castings, making the second one useless, but then again, with another one time token generator, assuming you don't have haste, a boardwipe would render it useless as well.

Well, that's my two-cents. Hope at least one of those will help you out.

Thanks YoshiCline. Those are great. I was thinking of Militia's Pride and Nomads' Assembly but I don't know what to take out for them.

For Militia's Pride I'd probably take out Launch the Fleet, because, as I said above, it's pretty much just being able to use it every turn, which, even without being able to use it on tokens, will quickly add up.

im surprised this rune tail guy isnt banned from being a general! he pretty much automatically flips unless you lose 10 life my turn 3, and that is crazy!

Yeah big_kahuna333. The trick is to find the army to support him. Thanks.

here's my list that I've been working on for a couple of years now. You might be able to learn some things from it.

Anyways, I think you need to capitalize on rune tails ability more by using creatures that directly synergies with him, instead of simply value creatures. For example, Wall of Glare, Weathered Bodyguards, Guardian of the Gateless, Fountain Watch etc

Just look through my list and check out my card choices, because I'm too lazy to write anymore. Peace

You may also wish to consider -1 Day of Judgment for +1 Final Judgment.

Not bad NoOneOfConsequence. I wish Wave of Reckoning had a reprint.

February 14, 2016 7:14 a.m.

@DavidBray Indeed. It could do with some slightly different wording--and a better card frame.

I know it wouldn't make sense, as per his cycle, but I really wish that they had made Rune-Tail R/W. He'd be so easy to abuse--and probably the best R/W general available, frankly.

February 15, 2016 2:17 a.m.

Hard to cut much, but I doubt Resolute Archangel is going to do as much work as you want it to. Also a little dubious of Hold the Line, Honor of the Pure and Spear of Heliod toughness means next to nothing here

I would also cut both Masako the Humorless and Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker both good cards but not a lot of synergy with your deck.

Angel of Jubilation might be better in sideboard? I don't know your meta.

Hope that helps make room for your wraths!
