Okay, made a bunch of changes! This deck is made for group play - you will get slaughtered in a dual as it's WAY too slow.
Feral Animist came back at a good time! Gotta love Bloodrush with his doubling power, and Skarrg gives him Trample! The only downside is the limited buff in toughness.
Repeat enchantment removal from Polis Crusher and repeat flyer removal from Silklash Spider.
Nullstone Gargoyle makes it harder for people to play Murder and the like, so getting rid of Ruric once he's on the field becomes a royal PITA - especially if you got a Strionic Resonator out and have some extra mana - they try and play their second Doom Blade on Ruric, and he can hit them for 12 (18 total from the first attempt) for just trying.
Got Lord of Shatterskull Pass out with Zhur-Taa Ancient out once, and the following turn - with Strionic Resonator I cleared a couple of 9/9's and plowed right through.
I've found I need to mulligan until I have at least 1 mana of both colors in hand. Ran into just drawing green, or just drawing red and the only thing I could play was Strionic IF I had it in my hand. This is a physical deck of mine, and if I had the money I'd load up on shock-lands but the budget is limited. In short, I know there's a solution but it's currently not affordable.
This is be played aggressively, but the drawback is it make you a target at the table and there's no lifelink (thinking I should make room for a couple of Loxodon Warhammer and that would also alleviate Ruric hitting ME if I played anything but a creature.
Any help or thoughts about the deck would be greatly appreciated!
