A deck built after my own heart. When I was first reintroduced to MTG about 2 years ago the very first lore story that I stumbled upon was The Gitrog Monster! No longer was I just around for the game itself and the mental production it helps to provide. But also for the illustrious storyline. 2 years later I was looking for something to build that was just different then my other decks. Id stayed in my wheel house pretty good over two years and both of my favorite decks were Grixis (Nekusar and Inalla, Archmage Ritualist.) I wanted to build something without infinite combos that was more or less value and just overall fun to play. I decided on the Hypnotoad because of my love for the lore and having lots of mana. Not long before this excursion I was introduced to foreign foils from a friend and became more or less infatuated by them. So after a few months and plenty of time/ money spent tracking down cards- I have most of a foreign foil lands deck with a subtheme of Nissa. Nissa reminds me alot of my fiancee atleast in the storyline because of her character development and character design, the fact that she just fit right in here was an additional bonus! Anywho let me know what you think and if you have any ideas on general upgrades that I should look into. (I already know that I need the rest of the fetchlands, boseju, and Crucible of Worlds)

So because of not wanting any truly infinite combos to this deck I decided to go in a more.... janky direction. The deck aims to gain life off of various landfall creatures/ enchantments and use that life to distance myself from the rest of the table while also incurring value. I can then use that life as a finisher through things like Aetherflux Reservoir. Value is mostly acquired through The Gitrog Monster letting me draw cards through all the fetch lands and what not. Aetherflux Reservoir + Eternity Vessel is a pretty neat little closing synergy if you have a bunch of landfall triggers at your disposal.

Cards im intersted in adding potentially? Far Wanderings Boseju Carpet of Flowers Constant Mists Ayulas Influence (this would however be potentially infinite with dakmor/frog) Ulamog, Infinite Gyre Ulamog, Ceaseless Hunger Kozilek, Butcher of Truth Emrakul?

Titans not necessary unless Im going more heavily into dredge loops. I have thought of keeping all the dredge and discard loop stuff on the side in case I wanted to swap it over in a more competitive pod.
