If you're looking for an example of a manabase, I would play 25 lands like this:
4 Opulent Palace , 4 Polluted Delta , 4 Temple of Deceit , 4 Temple of Malady , 1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth , 2 Yavimaya Coast , 1 Llanowar Wastes , 1 Forest , 2 Island , 2 Swamp . That's somewhat rough, but I think it's a reasonable place to be starting.

GlistenerAgent. I thought about what you said and I changed some thingsaccordingly to it.To get the manabase you like you suggested is just way out of my budget. but it's similar.but I could do the rest. and it just looks better. so thanks :)

28 land with 3 coursers seems a bit much personally. 40% land should do ya fine.
even if not I'd probably change out 2 of the opulent palaces for 2 Llanowar wastes to fix the mana base a bit.
, 4 revoker in the sideboard? I'd drop that by 2, sideboard the 2 dissolve and replace them with 2 negate. you already have enough creature/walker removal, the counter spells would be best used to nail your creature hardcasts and prevent their removal.
I of course love the idea, a suggestion though is you don't really have a way to deal with 2 things:
-annoying god cards
-infinite deck combos
my suggestions is put a copy of Stain the Mind for the infinite denial and Unravel the Aether to bounce gods back when they least expect it.

gro0veyeah, the 28 lands. I forgot to take out basic lands because I put in more dual lands. it was supposed to be 25.and I sideboarded your suggestions. because not everyone plays with gods or combo'sbut they are good suggestions and I thank you for that :). and with playtesting. mana is not a problem or I need to be really, really screwed.

If you're playing 3 Courser of Kruphix , you might as well play four. Cutting a Deathdealer seems like the way to go.
4 Murderous Cut feels like a lot. Consider Bile Blight in the main, which is more useful earlier in the game.

but your are right on the murderous cut though. so I changed it to 2 Bile Blight

Even with 10 targeted removals, I can see that your aggro matchups will be bad. The problem I see is lack of draw. You have a lot of filter effects, but no actual draw. Limit the negates to 2 and add 1-2 more Dig or even simple divinations.
Reaper of the wilds is bad for the same reasons Savage Knuckleblade is bad - it takes up mana for it to be good. Compared to Siege Rhino or polukranos, it provides no immediate value or too many advantages to put it over the other options. -2 Reaper, + 2 ashiok - in the world of midrange value, Ashiok is king (or queen, or something in between).
I like the SB, except revoker, which is useless in the current meta of TRIGGERED abilities. Put the perilous vault in there or a sideboard negate.

but reaper's ability is most likely just a negate and so I don't lose card advantage and I can use my Negate on something better, like a planeswalker or something that could remove the reaper that ignores the hexproof and the scry is just awesome when something dies. Knuckleblade needs a lot more mana then reaper to stay alive.
And with Drown in Sorrow in the SB I'm not that afraid of going up vs aggro' decks. but I agree it does lack draw. so I changed 1x negate to the SB and removed the revoker and put in a Weave Fate because it's on instant speed.

Is Liliana Vess worth a try to wreck someone's hand or grab something desperately needed next turn?

PrecintSix6Six, as you can see. Liliana is in my sideboard

I have played Sagu Mauler . but Pearl Lake Ancient is just so much better for me.

Fair enough- you've got so much mana base that I doubt it matters much. Plus, at the stage of the game you bring the Ancient out, what are they going to do? Force you to bounce three tapped lands to your hand so you can play an untapped one? Love the build.

or I can tapp my lands for mana to bounce him in response and cast him back. :p
and thanks man :).I'm also having fun by playing it and winning from some popular archetypes like abzan midrange and jeskai aggro and even rabble red.

Nope, control is not dead, it's gone green. And a good thing too- white is boring.

Dissipate over Dissolve? because Whip of Erebos and all of the delving?
November 5, 2014 2:36 p.m.
dantekratos says... #22
I prefer the scry over that 1 card that gets exiled and that's why I play Sultai Charm.the whip is slow so I can easily destroy it before they can even use it.

I would probably replace those Negates with Disdainful Stroke, afterall how many noncreature spells that cost less than 3 do you want to counter anyway?
November 23, 2014 4:06 a.m.
Knock out 2 negate for two Disdainful. It's not completely better against similar decks, but vs Abzan or Temur..
GlistenerAgent says... #1
You should honestly just be running the full four Opulent Palace . You are a slow deck anyway, so you need your mana to be good and the tapland is fine. The lifegain lands should really just be their respective Temples, as the life is usually irrelevant and the scry is legitimately useful. Only one Urborg is necessary, and I recommend you go up to the full four Polluted Delta because it's great mana fixing.
Despise should just be the fourth Thoughtseize , it's just a better card. You can afford to cut down on creatures, as all you really need are Sylvan Caryatid , Courser of Kruphix and your finishers. The rest either are too weak or don't contribute to the midrange-control plan enough.
I recommend you decide on a more concrete plan, as right now it seems very wishy-washy. Pick control or midrange, and commit to it. Prognostic Sphinx is a great finisher for the control version.
