This deck takes a control strategy with early game creature killing (lightning strike and magma jet) as well as supreme verdict to set up for the later game win cons, assemble the legion and Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Gleam of battle will speed up the process.Thassa and chandra serve to cycle through the deck faster, and Heliod is there to produce tokens and punch as a big dude.

Izzet Staticaster is an underrated utility card in my opinion, it kills pack rat (after I deal with the other packrats, that is) wave tokens, etc.
