@bman5604 I'm not too good with my sideboard cards. How does that look?

WHAT!??!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!

WHERE DID THE Gather the TownsfolkMTG Card: Gather the Townsfolk GO?

swamp_water says... #4

Well if you like it please +1 it. I see what you mean though about the story. This is by far my favorite deck to play. I can't wait until FNM this week to test this version out!

The towns folk were sac'd. Lingering SoulsMTG Card: Lingering Souls is better for fliers and has cooler flavor!

February 16, 2012 1:19 a.m.

QuentinD says... #6

Ya, but don't you want to sac humans instead of spirits? But all in all, souls is a better token generator.

February 16, 2012 1:21 a.m.

swamp_water says... #7

yeah that was the part I was stuck on but I was pretty weak against flyers in play testing so the souls were subbed. Trust me it was a hard choice. But at least the flavor part stands up.

I'd drop 2 torturers for 2 townsfolk, and 1 mob and 1 canibal for 2 more champions. Good deck though.

id toss in at least 2 Evolving WildsMTG Card: Evolving Wilds great deck thinning and might give you that need shuffle you are lacking

I ran it today against friends in multi-player at work and it was very good. I was 2-1 but that's because third game they were rolling me. I can't wait to try it again at FNM.

will end up killing you every time. All it takes is a Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith for 1 and bam, 9 damage done to you a turn. And Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith is a very common and popular card.

Don't flip the demon if your humans are weak. He's not a bad guy unflipped. Every game so far where I've played him I've had a human with many counters bigger than him ready to be sac'd. Anyways he's more end game and I like the flavor and the additional sac outlet. What do you think?

I can't believe no-one mentioned this yet:

Doomed TravelerMTG Card: Doomed Traveler is a boss and an auto-include in any b/w semi tokens deck, not to mention that it's a heavenly sacrifice target.

swap for 2 thraben doomsayers and 2 village cannibals IMO.

Aside from that it looks alright, although i'd probably run 1 less altar's reap and sub in another sorin if you have it

+1

I like it. Mostly because it makes Humans die. (Humans have become my bane in meta.)

February 20, 2012 3:45 p.m.

burkek says... #18

What is your meta game like? Or what decks are you having difficulty with? (Asking for purpose of sb help)

February 20, 2012 5:24 p.m.

swamp_water says... #19

Wolf run werewolves mostly

February 20, 2012 5:27 p.m.

burkek says... #20

If they are running mostly werewolves, flipped cards have no cmc and can be killed by a ratchet bomb for 0.

Falkenrath NobleMTG Card: Falkenrath Noble would be a pretty awesome card in your mainboard here, because of all the sacrificing you'll be doing. As for your sideboard...

Have you considered Surgical ExtractionMTG Card: Surgical Extraction, as an answer to undying creatures? I'd probably put another Oblivion RingMTG Card: Oblivion Ring in your sideboard, and probably at least one more Day of JudgmentMTG Card: Day of Judgment.

This looks really good. If you can find a place for one more Skirsdag High PriestMTG Card: Skirsdag High Priest, I think that would be good- that card is massively effective. This looks pretty tight. Good stuff!

Gave your deck a +1 because I really like the idea of it. Check out my deck W/B/R Tokens if you could. Our decks are more or less the same, just with a slightly different spin on things.

a couple of thoughts,

i playtested this deck 100 times and i got mana screwed more times then a deck should. I dont know why this is seeing that you have 24 lands but thats the facts

my other though,

i feel like that , Mirran CrusaderMTG Card: Mirran Crusader, Mikaeus, the LunarchMTG Card: Mikaeus, the Lunarch these are all valuble cards (human) that those top two cards hog...
