@permhole96 you playtested this deck 100 times? That's more than I have.

I can't say I've been mana screwed with this deck much. 24 lands have been my golden number forever with few minor adjustments.

I think i will playtest some of your suggested creatures as it will be fun to mix it up. I didn't like Skirsdag FlayerMTG Card: Skirsdag Flayer or Doomed TravelerMTG Card: Doomed Traveler as they seemed kind of week. Also 4xGather the TownsfolkMTG Card: Gather the Townsfolk is replaced by 2x Lingering SoulsMTG Card: Lingering Souls

Thanks for your feedback. Please keep it coming.

just think about those Gather the TownsfolkMTG Card: Gather the Townsfolk... also, how much do you use Vault of the ArchangelMTG Card: Vault of the Archangel?

Elspeth TirelMTG Card: Elspeth Tirel would be pretty fun, you could try with her, plus her ultimate can devastate your opponent. She's a fun girl. +1

swamp_water says... #7

I have not had a chance to try it at a FNM yet. If you do please let me know and I'll put it in the update. I've only played casually in multiplayer and it decimates.

Just went 4-0 at my local game store undefeated! Crazy nobody had an answer to it. I played it with Demons, removal, sacrifice, Tragic SlipMTG Card: Tragic Slip etc. No one card combo spoke loudest but I did love the early game cards.

Just went 4-0 at lunch today against the guys at work in multiplayer. It's pretty crazy how well this deck works. The trick is to know when to sac 'em.

I've built a similar deck called Kill all the humans... even your own.

I think this is a very cool deck, but i sort of wondered whether it might not be better without could be taken of for some more Increasing DevotionMTG Card: Increasing Devotion. It just feels dangerous and also dies to removal. I like your deck though so +1 for the idea.

I made a deck similar to this one. Here is link http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/the-power/ I am still making changes as I play with it and its only based off of cards I currently own.

I found that Sun TitanMTG Card: Sun Titan can be very useful in bringing back all of the lower cost cards in this deck. You may want to consider adding this card.

I noticed you added the Royal AssassinMTG Card: Royal Assassins and Reaper from the AbyssMTG Card: Reaper from the Abyss cards since the last time I viewed this deck. How have these worked out?

I did notice that this deck needed some removal in addition to the 4xTragic SlipMTG Card: Tragic Slip. I added Skirsdag FlayerMTG Card: Skirsdag Flayer but have found that it isn't working as well as I had hoped.

i've also found that Jar of EyeballsMTG Card: Jar of Eyeballs is very effective for finding/drawing the cards that you need.

@habitualpuma that is a awesome flavorful card to put in this deck. Thanks I might try it. :)

If you don't mind me asking, why Village CannibalsMTG Card: Village Cannibals over Unruly MobMTG Card: Unruly Mob?

February 27, 2012 7:41 a.m.

habitualpuma says... #24

@nvergara45 I thought the same thing. But then I realized that they both have their advantages. Village CannibalsMTG Card: Village Cannibals has potential to get counters when opponent's humans die. With Unruly MobMTG Card: Unruly Mob of course its only your creatures but they don't have to be human. With this deck being mostly human creatures that you would want to sacrifice I can see why Village CannibalsMTG Card: Village Cannibals was chosen. I actually have both in my deck

swamp_water says... #25

Also Village CannibalsMTG Card: Village Cannibals is less vulnerable when I'm not sacing or killing anything. I wouldn't have figured that one out if I hadn't played it.
