This deck is based on Tyler's Back Control Deck

Have you ever been in the mood to just say F***-it lets sacrifice everything... Well ya found the right deck!

Brief Description:

The premise of this deck is sacrificing either the opponents creatures or your own. I built this deck to also be flexible enough to get rid of hexproof creatures (I've got a buddy of mine who only plays a hexproof cipher deck and it brutal). With some of the higher card cost of cards in this deck I decided to add some mana ramping to speed things along. Most of the cards selected are meant to combo off themselves in various ways. Some of those combos are listed below.

Main Strategy:

The initial goal would be to get your mana ramp in play. Azusa, Lost but Seeking is good for early game and Crypt Ghast can also be very useful especially with its extort capabilities. Cards like Strangleroot Geist and Ambush Viper are good for those early game offensive and defensive encounters, while Zulaport Cutthroat I use more passively and in the late game is a really useful in different combos. In mid game Yahenni, Undying Partisan is your best option and if combo'ed effectively can even win the games for ya. While Merciless Executioner I use more for creature removal and is very effective in combos. The enchantments in this deck can help create some other good synergies and make some great combo plays, but my favorite card in this deck is Geth's Verdict. This card my not target a specific creature but thats the beauty of it. It make it a great defense against hexproof creatures and other non targetable enemies. For late game Reaper from the Abyss should put a dent in their HP.

Combos:

Most Combos for this deck are situational, due to factors like mana and creatures on the field but the deck has many synergies. I've listed a few in no particular order.

*Early Game Combos

1). Yahenni, Undying Partisan + Tragic Slip or Geth's Verdict

2). Zulaport Cutthroat + Strangleroot Geist

You could either block with Strangleroot Geist or use Tragic Slip

*Late Game Combos

1). Removing 2 opponent creatures, and preparing to attack...

Zulaport Cutthroat + Strangleroot Geist + Merciless Executioner + Yahenni, Undying Partisan + Crypt Ghast + Tragic Slip

Mana cost will vary depending on what you already have on the field, but best case scenario you have Zulaport Cutthroat, Strangleroot Geist, Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Crypt Ghast would already be in play bringing the total mana cost to 6 to make this play. You would cast Merciless Executioner sacrificing Strangleroot Geist then paying the extort on Crypt Ghast. I would follow that up with Tragic Slip on another one of the opponents creatures paying another extort on Crypt Ghast if the mana is available. This will put two counter on Yahenni, Undying Partisan as well as Zulaport Cutthroat would be triggered. Then would attack there afterward.

2). Stealing the All the creatures...

Grave Betrayal + Geth's Verdict + Tragic Slip + Merciless Executioner

You would need to have Grave Betrayal on the field then could cast either Merciless Executioner (sacrificing itself) or Geth's Verdict then chain that with the morbid on Tragic Slip to steal your opponents creatures.
