Enchantment (2)

Enchantment decks have lost a lot of popularity as of late, and fallen quite a lot under the radar. The general purpose of this deck is to beef up an Invisible Stalker with some enchantments and make him the core of your damage. To assist you, we have many aura enchantents to help. Death by Board Wipe? Get the enchantments back with Bruna! Fun fun :)

We also have some very fun general enchantments that stack well off of each other. Sphere of Safety is an absolutely hilarious card, especially when against aggro decks who can't do a thing about it. When that's mixed in with Hover Barriers, Martial Laws, O-rings, Azorius Charms, Blind Obedience, Detention Spheres, and Jace's +1, you're going to be in an incredibly safe situation.

From your incredibly safe base, your invisible stalker can roam free, and poke down your enemy's hp with that 1/1 power... until you pump it up with Ethereal Armor, and Curiosity, Gift of Orzhova, etc increasing your Card Draw, Damage, and eventually chunking people from anywhere between like 5-15 damage in a regular situation. Gift of Orzhova will also allow you to gain life every swing, which can help your early game situation very easily if you're up against a fast deck, just need to hold out until turn 5 or so for a sphere.

Little Sidenote about the Hover Barrier: Don't be afraid to throw an Ethereal Armor on them if it's going to serve a good purpose. A first strike with very high numbers on both power and toughness can server you VERY well, even if it's a defender. I promise :)

Also, the Azor's Elocutors are just a massive middle finger to the world, putting them on another timer besides a beefed out invisible stalker xD

There are only a few legitimate problems I can think of when this deck is played to potential: Merciless Eviction, Slaughter Games, and very big threatening monsters that they'd be willing to pay the toll to swing with. I come prepared with a Sideboard! Nevermore, first of all, is going to be an absolutely perfect card. Look for card color combinations that can hurt your deck. Black/White Orzhov deck? Say Merciless Eviction. Red/Black Rakdos deck? Say Slaughter Games. Facing a green deck that is running Naturalize? Say naturalize! There are, of course, more reasons to use it. Facing an Orzhov deck that's trying to infinite combo you down with Viscopa Guildmage and Exquisite Blood? Knock one of them out! Facing a burn deck that likes to play a couple guttersnipes, a Chandra, and runs Thunderous Wraths? Say no to Any of the three and knock the damage from 14 down to something much less painful.

As for the other cards. Negate and Dissipate are great cards against certain decks, especially if they can trigger something ridiculous with a single spell cast. (Imagine that infinite combo I mentioned earlier being started via a Sign in Blood on you. Negate or Dissipate it!)

Fog Banks, overall, are actually better than hover barriers IF the enemy isn't running burn cards and you're not too worried about trample. These situations are incredibly rare, however, and I plan on swapping Fog Banks out of the sideboard soon. I'm considering Witchbane Orbs, but I don't know for sure.

Bonds of Faith is a good anti-non-human setup, especially because it synergizes with Invisible Stalker, and you can use it offensively. Use it if you feel it necessary <(.<)
