This isn't really a combo deck in any way, it's more of a buy time until Sphinx's Tutelage does you in kind of deck. There's a lot of synergy and ways to buy time.

I noticed this deck is quite expensive if you were to buy every card for it, but really it's Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   and Polluted Delta that hits you hardest, you might be able to find suitable replacements for those cards if you're going budget, however, I strongly recommend both of them. Jace mainly because of his versatility (he's a looter, he has control abilities and he is a win con) at 2 mana. He speeds this deck up a LOT, and allows you to find your Sphinx's Tutelage faster. The deltas are important for mana fixing because you need 3 colours, and actually, the most important colour in the deck is blue.
