Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood Combo

Legacy

JardBard

Sideboard

Instant (1)

This deck uses the combo of Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood to make you gain infinite life and an opponent lose infinite life. The Brainspoils are there because its transmute ability allows you to discard it and search for a card with converted mana cost equal to it's. It just so happens that Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood have the same converted mana cost as Brainspoil. That means I can get those combo cards in my hand, quickly. If Brainspoil doesn't work out, I also have 4 Diabolic Tutors in there in case. Even if they find some way to counter all four of my Diabolic Tutors and I don't get to my Brainspoils in time, I can still try to use either one of my Liliana Vesses. Her -2 ability lets me search my library for a card, and put that card on top of my library. Since she starts out with 5 loyalty counters, I can use that ability two turns in a row when she comes out. The reason I have Liliana of the Dark Realms in there is because of her -6 ability, which lets my swamps tap for 4 mana. This lets me bring in cards with big mana costs like Pontiff of Blight, which gives all my creatures extort, which can trigger the Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood. The reason why I have that little one-drop ( Thrull Parasite ) is because it is cheap and has extort, which again triggers the combo. All this action happens while I have my walls out, which defend me while I am doing all this. My favorite wall in this deck is probably Wall of Souls , which helps lock up the board if you have the two combo cards out.
