Rakdos Madness Vampire Aggro (Say that ten times fast).

Inspired by NUDEandCONFUSED's deck.

With the inclusion of Eldritch Moon beatsticks and madness-enablers Furyblade Vampire and falkenrath condemned, I finally feel that the archetype is robust and reliable enough to stand a chance in the standard meta. And it's fast, easily capable of doing 8-12 damage by turn three.

Card list by (Madness) CMC:

  • Falkenrath Gorger : Good body and allows even your discard-engine vampires to be discarded, lessening the strain of a prolonged game.

  • Fiery Temper : Get rid of pesky blockers cheaply or squeeze in a little more damage to the player.

  • Asylum Visitor: Good stat line, lets you play aggressively and empty your hand, and is conveniently madness-able.

  • Furyblade Vampire : an absolute monster of an uncommon. Why they thought he needed trample as well I have no idea but I'll take it! Gorger turn one, this turn two, Incorrigible Youths turn 3 is the dream.

  • Heir of Falkenrath   : Still as good as ever, the evasion still relevant.

  • Stromkirk Condemned: the double black can be an issue, but it more than makes up for it by being a psudo-vampire-lord and does comparable if not more damage than the Furyblade.

  • Stromkirk Occustlist: Like a vampire Abbot Of Keral Keep, only with trample and madness and... Well I guess you get it.

  • Collective Brutality: High value card. Get rid of those nasty board wipes while thinning their board, or help win a damage race.

  • Bloodhall Priest : Dropping a 4/4 with an upside on turn three is good, mmmkay?

  • Incorrigible Youths : Dropping a 4/3 with haste on turn 3 is better :D

  • Olivia, Mobilized for War : Works very nicely with Falkenrath Gorger, and is a welcome sight at any stage of a game. Empties your hand really fast though.

  • Stensia Masquerade: Your fliers and tramplers will love this card, and is an integral part of how this deck wins versus Weenies.

So, that leaves us with:

  • Madness Cards: 18

  • Madness Enablers/ Discard: 16

  • Madness Granting: 4

And a mana curve of (Non-madness in brackets):

  • 1cmc: 8 (4)

  • 2cmc: 20 (17)

  • 3cmc: 10 (11)

  • 4cmc: 0 (2)

  • 5cmc: 0 (4)

Considerations:

  • Is Olivia better traded for two more Bloodhall Priests?

  • Should Collective Brutality be MainBoard or put in the side?

  • Do I need another one-drop? Insolent Neonate and Indulgent Aristocrat come to mind, although I think I have enough discard, and the latter doesn't interact with madness at all, although does help against removal.
