Intro:

Mana:

The following categories in the deck list are those that pertain to mana gain; Cost Down, Inf. Mana Combo, Land, Land Grab, Mana, More Land, Sac-GetLand, & Sac-Mana.

Cost Down: It makes things cheaper i.e., medallions.

Land: There are 33 lands in this deck. Special mention to Cabal Coffers, Cabal Stronghold, & Gaea's Cradle. The deck is mostly black, so Swamps have the highest card count of the basic lands. This will make your Cabal lands more effective. Also, being that this deck focuses on saproling generation Gaea's Cradle will be a good mana generator once you have a number of creatures out.

Land Grab/Sac-Land Grab: These cards allows you to grab lands from your deck, as does the Sac-GetLand section, with the prerequisite of sacrificing a creature.

More Land: These cards allow for more lands to be played in a given turn.

Mana: This section includes all your mana rocks and mana instants like Bubbling Muck. Special mention top Pitiless Plunderer who creates treasure tokens when a creature dies. Being that this deck has a high rate of sacrificing you should expect Pitiless Plunderer to be very helpful once you get going. The Sac-Mana section has cards like Thermopod & Burnt Offering which allow you to get mana by sacing creatures.

Inf. Mana: The inf. mana combo consists of 3 cards; Devoted Druid, Morselhoarder, & Necrotic Ooze. In order for it to work, Necrotic Ooze must be on the field without summoning sickness, and the other two cards must be in the GY. You will tap Necrotic Ooze (using Devoted Druid's first ability) to get a green mana, then you will untap it (using Devoted Druid's second ability) adding a -1/-1 counter to it. Then you will remove the -1/-1 counter on it (using Morselhoarder's second ability) adding one mana of any color. This will net you 1 mana of any color & 1 green mana. Rinse and repeat. This combo works even though Morselhoarder & Devoted Druid name themselves as the recipient of their given abilities, I checked the rules. I will also note that this is not the only way to get inf. mana in this deck but it is by far the easiest.

Draw:

There are 7 cards dedicated to drawing in this deck. 5 "normal" draw cards like Sylvan Library, Dark Confidant, & Wheel of Fortune. There are two Sac-Draw cards that give draws but require a sacrifice first.

Tutors:

There are 3 types of tutor cards in this deck; Classic tutors, Sac-tutors, and Lib->GY Tutors. The "Classic Tutors" section consists of... you guessed it, classic tutors like Demonic Tutor. "Sac-Tutors" are tutor cards that require a sacrifice like Natural Order. "The Lib->GY Tutors" are tutors that send cards from the Deck to the GY, like Entomb.
