Mono Green Sasaya makes for a fun budget Commander deck that can still accomplish a lot and be relatively competitive without breaking the bank. The deck is loaded full of spells that fill your hand with lands, then we have the big meanies that are the payoffs for our ramp and large excess of mana.

If you look outside the usual big green finishers there is still plenty of candidates that can get the job done for a fraction of the price. Examples of mana sinking win cons in this deck include Wolfbriar Elemental and Hydra Broodmaster.

A point of interest in the deck is the infinite saprolings combo. You use Sporemound and Life and Limb, and then just make your land drop for turn. This starts an infinite combo that would end in a draw, so you have a bunch of instant enchantment removal (Nature's Claim/Wear Away/Sundering Vitae) to stop the combo manually. I always like to add a little bit of a combo flare, because who doesn't like becoming an instant threat amongst your friends.

Some cards in the deck are a little more expensive and aren't totally necessary but I already had them, something like Nissa, Vital Force isn't budget but I have more than a playset, and it would be silly not to throw one in this deck. Thought Vessel and Reliquary Tower are a little over the top but there isn't many unlimited handsize cards available to us, and we do need them.

The other card that sticks out like a sore thumb is Helix Pinnacle. Whilst being a $10 card and well outside the budget parameters I set, it is such a hilarious and weird win con that I was offered a free copy if I ran it. How does one say no to that?

Obviously upgrades can be made if you want to bump the price up, big fellas like Avenger of Zendikar are made for this deck, and cards like Omnath, Locus of Mana and Azusa, Lost but Seeking infinitely increase your mana ramp and efficiency. But the aim of this deck is to be budget, but fun. So I tried my best to keep it that way, even if I had expensive pieces available to me.

Overall I feel the price is well near what I set out to achieve, and I'm happy with the deck. If you can think of any budget essentials that I need to have, please comment and share your input. My magic knowledge is minimal and full of holes.
