The goal of the deck is to use Buried Alive to tutor for specific stax creatures which we can bring back with Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord. This lets us prevent opponents from going off, while also giving us some board safety from other players not wanting the specific stax piece to die either.

The tax pieces used here are a general template and can be highly customized to suit your meta. The only real restriction I can see is the CMC of the creature, as CMC 4+ can make it hard to get reanimate two creatures, or revive once if Sorin gets targeted.

Outside of the stax toolbox, the deck is highly editable. Some other possible builds might include a lifegain shell to get better use of sorin's lifelink passive, or a tribal build like humans, spirits, or clerics (creature types most of our tax creatures shared), or vampires to be more on theme with Sorin. Here we use an aristocrats shell because it makes other players want to target us even less than before (and also cause they generally fun).
