I don't know if I'd agree with that. While Champion of the Parish is awesome, Hero of Bladehold combined with Hellrider is terrifying.

This is awesome, I actually brewed a standard version of this for FNM tonight. :) I'm definitely going to try to fit Lingering Souls in there, shouldn't Modern's manabase make that even easier?

So I liked this deck so much I made something similar to it with a few tweaks. Check it out if you want R/W Modern Tokens

+1 sincerely for the bacon sleeves and using Raid Bombardment like a boss, as how it should be respected.

What I like is that you're only one card into modern. You could run the same deck in extended just by swapping the Raise the Alarm with, I guess, Dragon Fodder. Not instant speed but still, not bad.

You know this deck is modern legal, right?...

Doomed Traveler and Raging Goblin strike me as sub-par compared to the rest of the deck (although I do see their use). What about Kiln Fiend as another possible fling target and/or Apostle's Blessing to make sure Spitfire/Fiend make it through for damage? Also I love this deck, +1 for sure

I see Kiln Fiend 's use here for sure. I built this deck like 2 years ago and mostly quit playing Magic for lack of people to play with, so I haven't revised it in two years. That's also why it's listed as Unformat, because I figured it had probably rotated out of Modern by now, as I don't keep up with the new sets. I'll fix that in a second though.

What about Purphoros, God of the Forge ? More burning damage with your tokens, plus the +1/+0 ability. I want more decks like this: Cheap, fast and original. +1

Great deck! +1 Legion Loyalist instead of your Raging Goblin . Thatcher Revolt can fit the theme also

Krapak, I had no idea that card existed! They're only a couple bucks, so I will definitely be replacing the goblins with Legion Loyalist .

Has anyone else already mentioned that Legion Loyalist is better than Raging Goblin ?

alright, so a few notes, Hero of Bladehold will not trigger bombardment or hellrider with her tokens becuase they do not trigger when this creature attacks, it's a weird situation that I learned mostly from khalia.

fun deck though, I always recommend 4 lightning bolts because it is the best red card in modern.

I second this. Also, Lightning Helix anyone?

By the way, Orim's Thunder isn't Modern Legal. Wear / Tear is though.
