Welcome to my guide to this sneaky deck!!

Satoru Umezawa is a nice commander to cheat creatures into play. To do this you need to attack with a creature and it must not be blocked. This means evasion creatures are good to connect. Also since we return the creature to our hand, we really need 1-2 cmc creatures with evasion. Such creatures, with additional ETB, leaves the battlefield or attack triggers are even better. Don't forget your commander's trigger when you use Ninjutsu, while he is on the board. You can also return himself to Ninjutsu another creature, but unfortunately you don't get his first Ninjutsu trigger.

Also we are running a lot of ninjas, since our commander is likely to get removed a lot. He is very scary, especially to people outside your playgroup. No-one wants to see a sneaked Blightsteel colossus that cant be countered by normal counterspells. I don't use one, cause it ends games too fast and my playgroup will hate it.

That's why we have a strong backup plan, which is reanimation. Living Death, Twilight's Call , Victimize , Sheoldred, Whispering One and Junji, the Midnight Sky are our reanimation tricks. You can also try Living End and All Hallow's Eve.

To use our reanimation effectively, we add looting cards and effects. Cheap evasion creatures with looting or surveil effects are ideal for this deck. Prime examples are Nightveil Sprite, Looter il-Kor and Owl Familiar. Those help both are plans and allow for deck-fixing. We have some extra cards for looting, since those are not enough at all. Also since we are looting and not all our creatures have evasion, we added Filth and Wonder. Those work nice with a lot of our threats and ninjas, making them a way bigger threat. I also added Bloodghast and Nether Traitor, so we have ways to get evasive creatures after a board wipe. Manlands are used for the same purpose as well.

Our big threats usually have a ETB or combat damage trigger, which compliments our strategy. We have ways to play opponent cards from their hand with Mindleech Mass and Silent-Blade Oni, cards from their library with Fallen Shinobi and Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion and their graveyard with Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni and Junji, the Midnight Sky. I have tried to put more threats that can be hard-casted if needed, in case our commander is having trouble staying in the board and there is graveyard hate as well.

Attack triggers do not trigger on a creature entering the battlefield with ninjutsu. So annihilator is not that good here.

Mass reanimation is nice, but is even better if you can give your creatures haste. That's why Mogis's Marauder is great to have in your graveyard, when you cast Living Death effects. He can also be hard casted to give haste and evasion to your creatures, if you are in a good board state.

The deck lacks instant removals and board wipes, apart from Living Death and Devastation Tide. Add more if you feel like it. We have very good card draw and similar effects and three decent tutors, so finding them its not that hard. However, we use creatures to remove enemy threats like Dokuchi Silencer, Throat Slitter, Goremand, Archon of Cruelty, Sheoldred, Whispering One and Enigma Thief, which can be cast with its prowl cost, since we have a lot of rogues. However those effects can be repeated easily, with reanimation or ninjutsu. In addition we have two ways to clone our stuff with Glasspool Mimic   and Thousand-Faced Shadow, which can be used as a cheap evasion creature that will come back to hand after a ninjutsu if needed, and the first one serves as a land if needed and has the bonus of being a rogue.

I have put some extra board wipes in the sideboard and some stuff that could be decent, but I haven't found space for them.

As for mana-rocks I added mainly signets, talisman, diamonds and in general colored mana. Most of our drops are low cmc cards with no colorless mana on them. Since we are cheating creatures on the board we don't need an abundance of mana. However we need to recast our evasive creatures a lot and we need colored mana to do so. Feel free to play with the mana rocks and decide on your own.

In your starting hand, you should have 2 or 3 lands ideally and 1 or 2 cheap evasion creatures. You don't necessarily need ramp in your opening hand with this deck, although 1 mana rock would be nice. Card draw and Ninjas are good in your hand and one big threat would be nice. Two many high-cmc cards is not good, as your commander is likely to get removed the first time.

Also note, we use expensive lands. You can cut down the budget of this deck, by changing many of them.

Anyways check the decklist and tell me what you think. Suggestions appreciated.
