I had to appeal to Knights in my collection again.

The situation is quite frustrating here, where my actual meta is composed by UWR control, and nothing else.Seriously, during last week modern tournament, Top8 was only UWR.

I'm not saying that I'm building this deck to counter UWR in specific, but I built it while keeping an eye over potential threats at my local store.

My question is also if it can be competitive or not, and if it's well-balanced against some other types of deck.

Fiendslayer Paladin gave me hope to rebuild a Knight-themed deck, even if I know that Tribals are quite risky in this format.

As every Knight deck, I run Aether Vial. Flashes in creatures, not counterable, keep mana open for removal or equipment.Pretty self-explanatory.

In my opinion a Knight-Tribe relies on double strike + ad hoc sword. Direct damage + double sword proc in insane. That's why I included a single Steelshaper's Gift, assures you to have the right sword at the right moment, and a Silverblade Paladin, to power up Knights who are not "doubled".

As you can see, Protection is the key of this deck. Mirran Crusader crushes BG/Jund by himself.Stillmoon Cavalier helps in Mono-White match-ups, Death and Taxes, and every deck that relies on Path to Exile.

I'm still thinking about Fiendslayer Paladin over the good old Paladin en-Vec. The first one's ability to give you back life against a Red deck is amazing, but he doesn't have a "real" pro-red unless you equip him. Need suggestions.

Mana base. Plains + Emeria, The Sky Ruin still rocks imho, so why not forcing it a little bit? Flagstones of Trokair, Ghost Quarter and Knight of the White Orchid will squeeze you deck for all plains in order to activate Emeria. A HUGE late game support.

Mutavault. Another Knight? Yes, please!

Cavern of Souls. More support for hard-cast creatures against that f*g control.

Other spells.

The sexy Elspeth, Knight-Errant. +3/+3 and fying on a double-striking creature? One-shot someone for sure.

Brave the Elements. Again, a massive protection for everyone. A must, since you will use this to go for your final blow.

And last, but not least, Charge Across the Araba. I always loved this card since its first appearance, but unfortunately it didn't see a lot of play. Well, I think that here is insane. Imagine just two of your double-strike Knights, protected by Brave the Elements, or better, by their swords. Now imagine your opponent face when you cast this after he could not block them. Enjoy.

Concluding, I will test hard this deck, but I still need a lot of suggestions in order to know if it's viable or not in Modern.( Suggestion for sideboard are also welcome! )

Thanks in advance. Peace.

Silverblade Paladin or Kinsbaile Cavalier? I've chosen the first due to its cmc equal to the other Knights, but I'm open to suggestions about this topic.
