HAS BECOME Table-flipper (Bant Heroic)
Grew tired of U/W Heroic, so I tried something different.
Suggestions and ideas welcome! Also, any help on the manabase would be greatly appreciated.
-----------THE CARDS-----------
Hardened Scales -- Creates a good environment for our wincons to grow strong, fast.
Sage of Hours -- Main wincon. Make him unblockable with Aqueous Form or kill their blockers with protection spells or a surprise Solidarity of Heroes, then proceed to your extra turn. Note: Sage + Scales + Solidarity of Heroes = 5 counters right away. (Heroic +1 - Scale triggers, 2 counters. Solidarity doubles them - Scale triggers again, 5 counters.)
Chasm Skulker -- Secondary wincon. Make him unblockable with Aqueous Form and start beating. Grows twice as fast with the Scales. Grows to epic proportions with
Ordeal of Thassa
. Benefits from every extra turn you take.
Solidarity of Heroes -- Great surprise spell to kill a blocker/attacker. Great way to get extra turns. Great finisher.
Commune with the Gods -- For whatever your hand needs: a wincon, an Aqueous Form, a Hardened Scales or an
Ordeal of Thassa

Favored Hoplite
- The expendable. Can become another wincon if you can't find the Sage.
I chose to put both Ranger's Guile and
Gods Willing
for protection flexibility, mana-wise. The more expensive
Feat of Resistance
becomes worth it with the Scales, giving 2 counters instead of 1 (or even 4 counters when cast on Sage of Hours).
