THis seems a lot better Maybe if you can afford it, replace the Putrefy s with Maelstrom Pulse s.

Hey there, me personally for this deck I would add red for the third color, with red you could replace Grisly Salvage effects with more precise discard such as Faithless Looting , red also has Lightning Bolt for a versatile early game kill spell and some damage later game. Finally Fling would be just awesome. Lastly, to go three colors, modern decks use fetches such as Verdant Catacombs , combined with shocklands like Stomping grounds, and Overgrown Tomb .

adding red would give you Nova Chaser , Lightning Bolt and Faithless Looting

To fix the land base, I would add Verdant Catacombs and Blood Crypt /Stomping Ground

Fetch lands are so expensive CurrentlyUnavailable and awesomeguy37 What do you guys suggest as a cheaper, but effective alternative?

I did alot of testing and its hard to recover Varolz if he keeps ending up in my graveyard, its almost like the deck depends on him. What would I use/do to get him in my hand ready to go? I was thinking Jarad's Orders , but it looks like I need a mana dork for that to work. Faithless Looting and Vexing Devil may make its place in the deck

I don't really see the point in Narcomoeba it has a good combo with grisly salvage, the fright, and the thug and if he is in play with a varolz can be pretty deadly. However, is Not a good card if you have it in hand, or in play or even in your graveyard and without a varolz is nothing but a 1/1 flyer...Jarad's Orders is a must in a deck like this, you don't need any mana dork for it neither it will grab what you need and toss what you need in the grave...Also I like Duress or even Despise better than Retrace or main your Surgical Extraction . Deck is pretty good though. There's also Essence Harvest or Dying Wish , or even Rite of Consumption can be fatal in this deck...

SithLord instead of fetchlands, i would use Terramorphic Expanse or Evolving Wilds . You could also use Farseek ?

xKrenko I think I get a feel of what your suggesting. The reason I have Raven's Crime is because if I happen to dredge the two copies into my graveyard, I am screwed. However, I can get rid of a land I don't need to re-use. The downfall of the discard is they choose so I think I should just go with 3x/4/x Thoughtseize (having instant discard could help me against counters etc). I am liking Dying Wish and Rite of Consumption alot and may consider. Please recommend more if you think there is something else missing! I am glad you like it, it is a deck I have put alot of effort and thought into.

awesomeguy37, thank you for the suggestions, but I feel it slows the deck down. I am kind of leaning towards City of Brass , which eventually can be switch out with the fetch lands.

Love the interaction between scavenge and Death's Shadow , nice on you for picking that up.
