This is technically my first EDH build from scratch. I've put together some Golgari and Naya decks from the giant box of cards I already have, but this is the first prototype I've put together card by card. I intend to draw A LOT and hopefully play some killer combos with my card advantage. Since having no maximum hand size and Bioshift were the inspirations for this deck, I figured having Kruphix, God of Horizons would make the perfect Commander, and somewhat guarantee me the ability to play with more than 7 in hand - to a certain extent. My plan is to have Isochron Scepter + Simic Charm provide most of my protection along with using Sculpting Steel to play an Bioshift + Isochron Scepter combo and move crazy counters all over the place. In terms of defense - I shape my battlefield based on whatever my opponents are playing with Mimic Vat, Opposition , Followed Footsteps, Clever Impersonator, Cryptoplasm , and Progenitor Mimic. Although it may not be the strongest strategy, I think all the cloning would be hilarious and in line with Simic ideology.

I didn't build in most of the Commander staples, but I'm not against it either. I was having some trouble deciding on the creatures/instants/sorceries/artifacts to support the scientific and adaptive theme the Simic are known for. I was hoping to get some feedback prior to investing in this deck since it seems to be a bit outside the "budget" build.
