It's a pretty straight forward Scion Dragon deck. It's a toolbox full of answers and threats.

This deck focuses on getting mana on the board and using it as efficiently as possible. This shows itself in the high number of lands, dorks, ramp and rocks in the deck. These help the deck get started before turn 5, but more importantly, they keep the deck running even if Scion has to be played more than once.

It's a five-color deck, so there are some games where getting colors is like pulling teeth, but those games are few and far between. Some of the fixing is done with what I call "slow fetches," cards like Bad River or Flood Plain In this format they work perfect and can be more efficient than traditional fetches when sequenced properly.

Once Scion hits the board I turn her into any of the toolbox pieces I have to respond to the other players at the table. Things like Tyrant's Familiar , Siege Dragon and Balefire Dragon do a good job of taking away a players board and each have their specific uses.

When you're ready for the win, there are plenty of dragons for Scion to become that are easy to pump, and by stacking Scion's triggers, you can pump before Scion becomes a double striker.
