Zer0w: Thanks for the comment! Oblation and Chaos Warp may have been nerfed, but they are still great cards. Just because it doesn't get rid of EDH Generals anymore doesn't make them useless.

Oblation can be a put a dragon back in to your deck and draw 2 cards card if you wanted it to.

Emarean: Thanks for comment. That would work, if I ever decided to have other dragons out on the field besides Scion. That's rarely the case, however.

Marenkai: Thanks for the comment. I'm not a fan of shuffling my entire graveyard back into my library. It might help me, but I find it largely unnecessary for this deck.

Your Mycosynth Lattice just gave me an idea for a really funny combo: Furnace Dragon + Mycosynth Lattice .
Lol. I want to try it sometime. And lose all my friends.

KoriAne: Thanks for the comment. Not a bad idea. A nice little board reset while you get to keep a big ol' Dragon lol.

You wouldn't get to keep the dragon. When it enters, it would be an artifact due to the Mycosynth Lattice, and it would be exiled along with every other permanent. (It says all artifacts, not all other artifacts.)

How about this ?
Just need to give Scion +1/+1 and then:
=> Copy Atarka, World Render
Attack => All dragons get Double-Strike
"Blockers ?
- No..."
=> Copy Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon
Death by blight. And it can be used even when low on life unlike the other Skithiryx combo.

Marenkai, sorry but your combo doesn't work. When the Scion became another dragon, he lost his ability until end of turn. That's why u usually do the combo with Moltensteel Dragon. You use Scion's ability 2 times and you pump it before the last resolves.

I'd like to point out a very nice combo I came across, what you would take out for it is up to you or even if you decide to add it, but... Feldon of the Third Path + Sidisi, Undead Vizier , infinite tutors each turn? Haha and a card worth mentioning from DTK, Profound Journey get back two of your dragons and the possibilities are limitless with Scion of the Ur-Dragon , I have a budget form of your deck (those duel lands are expensive bro lol so I substituted them for the the 10 check lands) and it's by far my favorite commander deck.

Some1WhoPwns: Thanks for the comment and suggestions!
Feldon of the Third Path + Sidisi, Undead Vizier is disgustingly good. I need to acquire myself a Sidisi right away so I can begin testing. Profound Journey would be a good card if it weren't for that converted mana cost of 7. I'll have to stick with my cheaper revival spells.
Yeah, those duals are expensive. Luckily, I've had them since forever, so I got them when they were moderately cheap. I love Scion of the Ur-Dragon. He's my favorite EDH General of all time. If you ever post your Scion EDH on Tappedout, I'd love to take a look at it for you.

MrAwesomeSocks, it's pretty much your exact same deck with the inclusion of a couple cards, I just couldn't help but compliment your deck for helping me jump-start this deck, the cards I'm missing are the tutors, so I replaced them with Sidisi, Undead Vizier and a couple of grave retrieval cards such as Kolaghan's Command and Gravepurge which also helps put dragons back into your deck. Along with 2 of the planeswalkers. It's definitely destroyed all my friends edh decks... Absolutely fun +1 from me

Some1WhoPwns: Ah, I see. Well, thank you for the +1 as well. I'm glad I could inspire someone to start wrecking people with Scion of the Ur-Dragon :-)

Have you thought about pumping Scion up using Dack's Duplicate and Enduring Scalelord to start an infinite combo??
April 20, 2015 5:17 a.m.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon turns into Enduring Scalelord then when you have enough mana cast Dack's Duplicate, and have him copy Scion who is right now dragon blooding enduring scalelord effectively copying hime. Then swing for dethrone and the combo triggers.
April 20, 2015 5:23 a.m.
Dack's Duplicate + Enduring Scalelord + Scion of the Ur-Dragon = A very huge dragon!

revenicus: Thanks for the comment(s).
It looks like a fun combo. However, in order to start the combo, I have to transform Scion of the Ur-Dragon during my main phase. That is a huge pet peeve of mine.
The combo does seem rather easy to pull off, though. I'll add it to the list of cards to test out. Thank you for the suggestion.

You're right transforming scion during main phase 1 is kinda strange usually i just flash creatures in with Prophet of Kruphix.

Another neat combo, Unwinding Clock + Mycosynth Lattice HAHA, although being edh, most people have ways to destroy artifacts so it's risky, I run it because it's fun and I don't have all the cards in this deck so it's a decent substitute

Some1WhoPwns: Unwinding Clock used to be in the deck many many moons ago, back when the deck was about 50% artifact. But as the artifacts went out, eventually did the clock as well. I don't think I have the space to run it now.

Coinman1863: Thanks for the comment! Gratuitous Violence is a great card, but that mana cost is expensive. Still, the potential to kill someone with this card is extremely high, so I'll considerate. Thanks for the suggestion.
