Enchantment (1)

Instant (1)

This deck is a very fun, and personal Favorite of mine to play, although slow so I only use it in 4 player matches. Dragons are on of my favorite creatures and when I got into Magic I just knew Dragons were happening, and when I found out there was a Prismatic commander there was no other option.

By Using mana ramp from Green cards with things like Kodama's Reach, Explosive Vegetation, and Cultivate to make sure im getting my land to drop, and then using the Gold and Fetch lands to get all five colors. Then I start playing two different strategies. One is similar to a Voltron style where I cast Scion and wail on a single opponent changing him before combat damage goes through. Or hard casting Dragons and other synergy cards such as the Tarkir Dragons, Cost Reducing/Cheating Dragons into play Cards, and enchantments to just agrro out a win, which can get outta hand with creatures like Utvara Hellkite, Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury, and Dragonmaster Outcast out among others. In some games ive found that Door of Destinies really helps with counters, making a big 6/6 or Dragon Broodmaster Tokens even bigger after casting some other creatures with similar types. I have also Added Kozilek, Butcher of Truth due to Mill in our playgroup, card draw, Annihilator 4, and a 10 cmc card isnt that hard to cast in Commander.

However my main win con is straight from Scion. With the ability to dig a card straight from my deck and the flying evasion, I can turn him into any of the dragons I want, Usually Nicol Bolas first and then Balefire Dragon second to have them discard a card then wipe their field. But since I can make him any dragon I want it just makes him much more dangerous.

Now that C17 is out with a dragon tribal deck I decided to filter through it (and others) for upgrades to Scion. I wasnt worried about tearing some of the cards out though I still kept the deck mostly together due to another player in our meta wanting to do a Dragon Tribal and ive found it very important to keep decks different (Thought that didnt work well with Kaalia from Commander Anthology).

The cards I choose to swap in easily were Path of Ancestry for mana fixing and Scry, Kindred Discovery for Draw, Mirari's Wake for Mana Acceleration.

However there were also cards that I had to think about. I added The Ur-Dragon as part of the 99 due to him being a good target for Scion and the various Recursion throughout the deck, however I dont know how effective he will be. When he was revealed I loved his eminence ability and his on the board, however I was fairly unhappy that he had no sort of protection because in our meta we have a ton of removal, and he would be destroyed by the next turn.

Traverse the Outlands because im playing powerful stompy things so I can at least fetch for four after getting Scion out.

Herald's Horn. I swapped this out with Dragonmaster Outcast (I thought about Dragonlord's Servant but wanted to keep the "1 less to cast effect'') and im going to really watch how it plays. Herald's Horn cheapens Dragons by one colorless and nets me an extra draw if its a Dragon. And while Dragonmaster Outcast nets me Tokens, which is why im hesitant to remove it, the cost reduction is important.
