Please keep in mind, i do not have access to a lot of older/more expensive cards, although that does not mean you shouldn't reccomend them if you truly think they will be a major help. Anything on that level that isn't a must have probably won't be worth getting though, but still speak up, as no matter what any suggestions are still VERY welcome.

I'd throw Moltensteel Dragon in here if you're going for general damage.

Also, Hellkite Charger and Bear Umbra .

Think of adding some dragons that scion can turn into if targeted. Something that punishes your poopnent for dropping that Swords to Plowshares .

Quicksilver Dragon , any of the legal kamigawa spirit dragons, Scourge of Kher Ridges , maybe Chameleon Colossus .

Nifty trick.

@karazorel: You're right, that is just about perfect, but unfortunately it costs around $60. Even if I were to buy the commanders arsenal thing at the suggested price (which I think is almost impossible) that would still be far too expensive to justify.

However, I still would like more things that could do something similar. Got any ideas?

Awesome. To offer some suggestions on what KaraZorEl brought up, I used to play with Reito Lantern and Haunted Crossroads in my own Scion of the Ur-Dragon EDH deck, and I still play with Jotun Grunt and Gurzigost . Check out the deck, maybe it'll give you some more ideas.

Thanks Rhadamanthus, I might use one of those, I think I have a copy of all but Gurzigost.

Jotun grunt will work against mill and stop other decks but is fragile and once he is done he is gone, haunted crossroads can allow me to draw creatures again but requires colored mana and won't work on an opponent, and reito lantern is great but expensive to do repeatedly. They all have upsides and downsides, but I am leaning toward the crossroads as it can function as Genesis #2. Unless someone can point out some cards that are worth taking out I don't think I want to add more than one of these choices as the deck doesn't need to recur a specific dragon, it would just be a bit quicker.

Also, thinking of adding a corrupted conscience to work double duty as kill accelerant and mind control. Infect is still 10 counters in EDH, right? Thoughts?

I think infect is 20 counters in edh. Have you considered Decimate?
