This was my first ever EDH deck. It is fairly frozen in time because I haven't updated it in quite a while; and, honestly, I kind of like it that way. I know there are a lot more powerful dragons now (especially after Khans block) but since this was my first deck I'd like to keep it much of the way that it was originally.

Just like most Scion dragon decks, at its core it is a tutor and reanimator deck. Stack your graveyard full of dragons while beating down with Scion then bring those dragons in your graveyard back to life. I play quite a few toolbox-y dragons (Quicksilver Dragon, Numot, the Devastator, etc.) to help me out of tricky situations but other than that it is mostly about beating face.

That being said, one of the downsides of playing a tutoring Commander is that a lot of your games start to feel the same. You're always tutoring up the same dragons which gets pretty boring for me if I play this deck too often.

On a scale of how competitive it is, I'd give Scion of the Ur-Dragon w/ Dragons a 8 out of 10.
