Pauper WB Creatureless Creatures
Orzhov () Artifacts + Control = SCP-173

AKA "Weeping Angels"
AKA "Disney's Gargoyles"

This deck and Fat of the Land (Pauper Manlands) ( + Ramp/Manlands) were basically built at the same time, around a similar concept: turning noncreature permanents into creatures.

Protect your creatures from removal by... not having any. Why? Why not.

  • What we're trying to do here is stop or eliminate the opponent's big threats until we can assemble a favorable board state and win with Hunger of the Nim on a temporary creature.
  • PHASE ONE
  • There's actually not a lot to do on Turn 1 with this deck. You could Fog/Holy Day if your opponent's on the play and busts out a stupid-big, damage-dealing, combat-based combo. Or you could be a dick and cast Innocent Blood.
  • First of all, you're opponent won't be playing slow, so in order to keep up with them, we use Fog effects and cheap, everybody-sacrifices cards. Fog specifically is here, as well as Holy Day. I went with 2-and-2 to try and keep the mana balance more even.
  • In addition, Innocent Blood is extremely cheap removal. Because we won't have creatures, we won't be losing anything to this, just the opponent. Do this before you activate your creatures and you'll be fine.
  • Similarly, Celestial Flare can slap an opponent right when they feel safest--after attacking into a creatureless player's face. Rather than holding up and then spending mana to activate a "surprise" blocker, just hold up a little less mana and make them sacrifice an attacker or blocker.
  • Also, before this deck can even start doing it's thing, you can also cast Gift of Paradise. It helps ramp so you can activate your artifacts and turn them into creatures easier. It also helps cast "double-color" 2-drops (Sign in Blood and Celestial Flare) and cushions your life total by 3 so you can absorb even more damage while you set up. There's no point to any of this, by the way. It's all just for fun.
  • Meanwhile, Sign in Blood and Read the Bones both draw you two cards at the cost of two life, though the latter lets also scry a bit for 1 mana more. Use these to dig for the pieces you need.
  • PHASE TWO
  • Now we can actually get into what this deck actually does. Glint Hawk Idol inspired this deck, and Guardian Idol and Fountain of Ichor are along for the ride. We'll wait until the right moment, activate these creatures, and then swing for a ton with Hunger of the Nim.
  • Glint Hawk Idol is the easiest to activate because most of your land plays will do the job. The other two cost mana to turn them into creatures, but... we work with what we got.
  • Also once you're in "creature-activation phase" you can time your removal with Hunger of the Howlpack to make your "creatures" much bigger.
  • Hunger of the Nim would be the intended wincon. With all these artifacts laying around, it should make these small noncreature-creatures into something that can close out a game.
