You ever consider Generator Servant? Hasty dragons 2 turns early are fun. And Drown in Sorrow might be good to buy you some time vs aggressive decks, side or main. Maybe for crucible, which I have allways felt is win-more with the fat dragons in std. But, total props and up vote for dragons in standard!

Thanks ESTABAUSS. I've been considering Generator Servant and Drown in Sorrow for a while now. I think I'll take out my Voyaging Satyrs for the Servant and I'll change the sideboard around a bit for sorrow.

Well, I'm not sure how much you've played this, but I did quite a bit in the playtest thing on the site, and I've found that I could swing for 20+ on turn 5. That being said, I would replace the Crucible of Fire's from the deck, as, having Atarka, would be kinda pointless, because you would be doing enough to kill them anyways. I would personally replace them with the Hero's Downfall's in the side, and put some more control in the sideboard. That's just my opinion though. I actually really want to try to make this deck before Theros rotates out, which may be tricky, as money is short and I only have a few of the commons in this deck plus 1 Atarka haha. Good luck though bro!

Also, as a little side topic here, this is extremely fun to playtest LOL.

Thanks Runlue :)
I'm not really sure about adding Hero's Downfall since black has the least amount of land and downfall is double black. I know, I have urbog, but we'll see. I might add Murderous Cut though...

Naahhh, go Downfall. Another thing I've noted is that 7 times out 10 I drew an Urborg at some point during my playtesting, so it shouldn't be TOO bad... sorta lol. As well as the fact that there isn't a ton to Delve in this deck.

You're ALSO forgetting the Mana Confluence's, so you have more than enough at your disposal to cast Downfall.

sorry to be the partypooper but your deck is not standard legal.
April 7, 2015 7:25 p.m.
Hum. His deck looks like a standard legal deck to me. T/O dosnt say that it's standard, but tappedout is doing this with any cards of a new set. In this case dtk.

I prefer Dragonlord Atarka to the fate reforged one due to the fact that its great when you're winning, great when you're losing, and great when there's a board stall. the double strike is cool but it's more of a 'win more' ability. also world render can be stoked.

Dragonlord Atarka is pretty sweet but in a dragon based deck like this the double-strike is just too good.

I'd say add +1 Thunderbreak Regent, with 15 dragons every little bit of protection helps. Plus getting multiple copies of Regent out is just mean! great looking deck. Also what are your thoughts on Avaricious Dragon?
July 20, 2015 3:10 p.m.
Good point with the regent. I'll switch a stormbreath out for him (I've got too many five-drops anyway). As for Avaricious Dragon I'm a little bit torn. I wouldn't want to play him early on in the game as he would get rid of my bigger cards, and yet there's little point in playing him later on as he's not that powerful. The only time I can see his ability being useful is to break stalemates. At most I would run two of him.

Cool. I think you're probably right about Avaricious Dragon. I'd be more willing to give it a shot if it was cheaper but $5+ is too much for something that could easily end up being not just a dud but even detrimental.
