I don't NEED to run elfball to have a planeswalker as a commander! I got a better planeswalking elf to run my deck full of rampy green goodstuff! I made this deck purely because I wanted to run a silly edh battlecruiser deck captained by a small green child (also I opened like two flip Nissas and the other's in my Roon deck).

Yeah, better specimens of this pedigree of deck are headed by cards like Azusa, Lost but Seeking, but right now this deck is meant less competitive than fun (for me). If you've never seen a ramp deck in action (how have you not???), our goal is to make waaaaaay more mana than everyone else can and then drop some big, bodacious bombs.

Buuuuuuut that's boring, so I wanted to experiment with it a little! I've got the classic suite of Landfall cards, with a couple goodies that you might not have considered. We also got a number of creatures that scale with the number of lands we have, and of course, hydras. The REAL fun thing I decided to mess with was land creatures! It's not usually a viable strategy, but there's something kinda fun about having your Sylvan Advocate and/or Earth Surge out when you drop a Rude Awakening, swinging with a pile of 6/6 trees, and then dropping the créme de la créme, Harvest Season to pull the rest of the lands in your deck out :)
